mortisclan's Clan

After many centuries of Dragonkind's survival, consciousness has evolved among the clans. A sector of the Plague dragons recognised that this increased awareness of life and mortality could only cause suffering among their species. These dragons call themselves the Mortis Clan, named after the Plague deity herself.

The Mortis Clan do not go out of their way to kill other Dragons, however they do not reproduce and instead provoke battles to the death to preserve the natural balance of the earth's resources.

Though looked down upon by other clans, even those who are Plague dragons themselves, the Mortis Clan believe they are fulfilling a sacred mission to restore balance to the universe. They do not believe their lives are more valuable than any others, however they believe their awakening has saved them from a life of ignorance and pain.
