Lair Lore and Headcanons

Freckle Frostburn Lair

The Freckle Frostburn Lair is the name for the entire lair. The Lair was formed when Crystal and Flare met at a stargazing festival held during a Starfall Festival one year. Crystal stayed in the cold part the Icewarden had requested for the stargazing festival for the ice dragons that would prefer the cold, and Flare came over to see one of his friends and saw the beautiful Fae in front of him. They soon fell in love and felt like they wanted to set up a small lair and start a family. They had a clutch of three eggs, and Crystal invited a few of her friends over into the new lair. Soon, they had a nice little lair of seven unrelated ice dragons, the Progenitors and their three children, totalling twelve. Two dragons joined the lair from a close lair because Crystal invited them in, and they decided to breed in their short stay. More dragons joined and were bred, leading Crystal to suggest breaking up the lair into a few smaller lairs. They could still work towards the same goal, she would just have fewer dragons to look after, and within sub-lairs, dragons could become closer to each other. They decided to split into the Snowballs Lair, the Flames Lair, the Stars Lair, the Friend's Lair and the Fodder Lair. The Snowball Lair was the first in command in the Freckle Frostburn Lair. The Flames Lair wants to be the first, but they are the second. The Stars Lair, the Friend's Lair and the Fodder are all equal. All the dragons in the Freckle Frostburn Lair, except for those in the Flames Lair, have the same goal, be peaceful, help their friends and make a friendly, happy community where everyone is friends. The Flames Lair wants to dominate the Freckle Frostburn Lair and make it more of an aggressive, dominance-based lair.

Snowball Sub-Lair

Crystal is the leader of this sub-lair, being my Custom Progenitor. Everyone respects her, and although being the leader, all the dragons in the sub-lair see her as an equal, and as does she to them. Snowcrush has appointed herself as the main protector, being the highest Coliseum level of everyone in the sub-lair. Frost and Hyde, as the two Gaoler dragons, and the only two ancient dragons in the entire lair, are more reserved in the Snowball Lair, and the modern dragons respect this, but have also tried to gain their trust, still being part of the same part of the lair. Frost has warmed up to the others a lot more than Hyde, but Hyde has a closer relationship with one specific dragon, Jekyll. Jekyll and Hyde are the two dragons with the closest platonic relationship in the section other than Crystal. Snowcrush is the newest dragon to the sub-lair and yet has warmed up very fast. The moment she arrived, Snowball instantly realised she wasn't straight and realised she had a crush on Snowcrush. She is yet to tell Snowcrush but has told Diamond, her best friend. Icicle and Coral are best friends, but they thought their relationship wouldn't become any more than platonic. Crystal is in very close relationships with everyone but doesn't like any single dragon more than any other. This sub-lair is the highest class of the entire lair, but they don't brag about it or treat anyone as a lower class than them, just as the leader has taught them.

Flames Sub-Lair

The Flames Lair is quite small, containing only two dragons, Flare, my Random Progenitor, and James, his most loved child and one of his two sons. The two have a close relationship, but Flare is seen as superior over James to both of them. They like to think they are very high class in terms of the entire lair and act like it, but everyone else knows the Snowballs are the highest class, and it is a blessing to be able to be in the lucky ones in there. James hopes to one day be able to take the place of his father as the leader of the Flames Lair, and have a small army of peasants to boss around. Crystal won't allow this, because as well as being the leader of the Snowball Lair, she is the main leader of the entire lair. Flare is the protector of this sub-lair. He will basically kill anything or anyone that comes in his way.

Stars Sub-Lair

The Stars Lair is a small lair just of two siblings, Cosmos and Celeste. They see each other as equals, although sometimes fight in the way siblings do. They have a very close relationship, and although play fighting, they love each over and would help each other with whatever they needed, whenever they needed it. They, both still being children, are protected by the other sub-lairs, both in protection and in leaders. Their parents, in the Friend's Lair, are their leaders, and Snowcrush, in the Snowball Lair, offered to protect them in times of need. They are supplied anything they can't obtain themselves by the other sub-lairs, but mostly the Snowball Lair, as the highest up sub-lair.

Friend Sub-Lair

The Friend Lair is where dragons that belong to my real-life friends go. They leave and join other sub-lairs whenever they feel like it, but they know they can't make too strong of relationships, because they will soon be going to the lairs of coelophysis and Pxl, probably never again to see their friends in this lair. Malaki and Lunaice have joint leadership of the sub-lair, but the other sub-lairs chip in, knowing anyone could be gone any day.

Fodder Sub-Lair

The Fodder Lair currently just contains the remaining two children of Crystal and Flare. Because of their eye types and bad gene colours, they were abandoned by their father almost from birth and bullied by their other siblings, James. They decided, because of the family abuse they had received, to leave as soon as they were old enough. They decided to sacrifice themselves to the Icewarden to be a help for someone, to be useful to someone. They want to train themselves in the Coliseum to be more useful to their Flight's Deity, and Snowcrush decided to help them, seeing how their father and brother are still abusing them. Crystal is and has always been accepting of her children, so accepts their choice to be exalted in the future.
