I grew up on a farm and when I was little we used to go mushroom picking in the paddocks every year. I liked the picking and didn't mind the peeling. But I wasn't fond of eating them!! Mum would boil them up into a sauce and it was very rich. I still don't really know how much of the intensity was the way she cooked it or if they were just much more flavoursome than the ones you buy in the shops.[br]
