WE NEED INSTRUMENT FEST ! we currently only have a set of basic things that are only accessible from the marketplace or auction house at high prices. That makes it hard to get things without using real money. If we had a festival season of music to match the warrior way or love is in the air...
It would have a special currency of like. Instrument parts? The NPC can be a fathom or another unused breed!

Ooo maybe it can be like musicians on the go with apparel of instrument casing strapped onto the dragon. Cuz it may look weird to attach a saxaphone to the mouth of a dragon, in fact the dimensions don't allow it I think as it has to fit within the square. But instrument casing on the dragon would be really neat.
Or maybe they could add an extra area for an instrument the way we have an extra area for familiars, that way you can have large instruments like a drum set without it blocking the art of the dragon

Oooh, maybe it could be like the pots from Fossilized Flora, and there's an open instrument case next to the dragon, like they're getting ready to play or pack it up.
(I guess a piano would be out of the option, here, though. A piano for a Fathom or a Guardian would be huge!!!)

Not sure if a fest style week would be doable, but more instrument items would be nice! ....I'm not sure if it's feasible but the idea of M Mirrors just holding the neck of a guitar like it's a chew toy would be funny.

maybe the currency could be sheet music, and it's all about exchanging songs and advice with other musicians. the fest merchant could be a banescale, since all of them carry and revere the final song of their ancestors.
if just music is too narrow of an idea for a minifest, it could be the arts in general. apparel could include dancing shoes, easels, hammers and chisels, woodworking saws, sketchbooks and various sculptures and carvings. and the familiars could be bowerbirds, pufferfish, chimpanzees and other animals known to create visual art, not to mention all the kinds that sing and dance to attract mates and communicate. like bees, who can use the rhythm, direction and length of their dancing to communicate the exact distance and quality of a desirable nesting or gathering spot!

Jokes aside, I want instruments in general. I DO have Plague "bards" of sorts, but I don't want the extra stuff associated with the one bone instrument (as an example). I don't really mind if they're festival themes or their own festival (which would be cool but I think they'd be more likely to just make instrumental sets like the monster hunter ones). I think it would be cool to have an entire set of instruments dedicated to the flight themes (shadow, plague, and fire I can see being SO AWESOME) but, in general, more instruments would be nice as a basic thing. I need my guitar, man.
