The end result really isn't my cup of tea since I don't use effects and in all honesty most of these are really difficult on my eyes, but Marva's takeover was very silly and fun and I did enjoy it greatly c:

This is my honest feeling exactly!! The idea of static effects is cool but a lot of these are completely inaccessible for me, and I'm not even severely disabled to where it causes a problem with visual things most of the time. I genuinely can't look at dragons with these effects equipped unless I want to get a big headache from eyestrain. These are cool in theory but I feel like it kind of contradicts the recent push for accessibility all around the site? :S
I mean, we have a toggle for april fool's jokes, animations, etc. but then we get all these effects that are an eyestrain risk even to a lot of people without visual sensitivities, with absolutely no way around them. It just seems to go against the devs' recent standing on things, is all.
No hate meant toward those who like them ^^' the accessibility factor for these just didn't seem to be fully taken into account in my opinion?

I am sorry to say that I am not impressed at all. Effects are nice, but Marva's effects are all so very similar. They don't enhance or compliment the dragon at all, but rather downgrade them. I can get a similar picture if I take off my glasses :'D
I wish the effects were more than just a seemingly old photoshop filter. I get Marva has joke items, so that is just my opinion.

I'm not a fan personally (although I do like Dither a lot) of these so I'll keep the discs for now until a dragon comes along that will work with them.
I would like a way to turn them off personally not just because of how bright some are but so I can see what the original dragon looked like with its skin and apparel on.
Had a lot of fun with the event though. I hope that Marva appearing on the site happens again even without the code (imagine the cardboard one popping up) . I enjoyed booping her away and the screenshots of the places she appeared!
