....I think that's the only time I ever got a gene location mixed up at all. Although I did hit myself with "Veils had Breakup" way before they actually did.

Returning to site I have consistently been surprised by a lot of the Ancient genes that are gem only. I'm an old user, in my mind gem genes should follow the "shiny" rule, so I was not expecting to see so many dull matte genes in the Real Money section.
Things like Plumage, Pinions, Mop, Wraith and it's ugly cousin Spectre, and I just learnt Wicker/Woven is in there too. Are we sure Staff didn't just make a mistake with that last one?

I thought Patchword/Stitched were Gem genes for some reason, was very pleased to learn they're actually Baldwin

Whooaah, I knew all of these except for gembond being a treasure gene! Eleven years of playing this game, and I've been under the wrong impression the whole time. Holy crap.
I'm also always surprised by Chorus and Choir - multiple people I've spoken to have thought they were gem genes, and I can see it, since they're so pretty. But nope! Treasure genes. Wild.

Thissss! I never liked Wish, and I assumed for the longest time that because of (what I perceived as) the low quality, it was a treasure gene. Now I have double the reason to never buy it :')
