Larkspur wanted to go out for some seasonals and brought Dawn and Nalu with him. There were a few tense battles since Dawn is still a little frail compared to the others but everyone made it through alright. Also, Dawn grabbed herself a level putting her in the double digits.

Galinda and Benthic decided it was time for the youngest member of the group to have their first coliseum day. Muslin's and Kombu's son is now named Vicose, which is another type of fabric that I thought had a nice ring to it. After 20 battles in the sandswept delta he's now lvl 5 and the family tradition of being spiffily dressed remains:

While the trip was a success it didn't bring back enough food for over two dozen dragons so another party went out. This one was Cypri, Anome and Nalu. They didn't have too hard a time in the thundercrack savannah and Anome and Nalu got a lvl each making them lvl 13 and 12 respectively.

New nest! Since the kids from Dawn and HoneyTea are grown up I paired one of them, MintTea with one of Pen and Larkspur's kids, Hollyhock! They're currently setting on three eggs and I deeply need to go and update the family tree

Larkspur took some of the younger dragons out and it was a tense day with Benthic and Vicose in the thundercrack savanah. There were quite a few battles where things looked good until they didn't and the group needed to bail in short order but everyone came through and Vicose is now lvl 8.

Welp... Here we go! Twice in a row!
First up is Heather, Galinda and Dusk. Heather had room for a guard stone so I popped one on but even with that, Dusk being only lvl 1 was dead to an errant crit in the first battle.
Since he is level one, hasn't nested or featured in the story really at all if someone would like to pick him up he's up for grabs. I really liked him and even though he's one of the newest dragons I'm sad to see him go.
Next up was MaryLou, Penthesilea and Benthic in the Boreal Forest. MaryLou had guard but I was going to throw a fit if I lost her, so Benthic got some help from Penthesilea but was otherwise largely on his own. Despite this, the enemies went for the more intimidating members of the trio and Penthesilea was the first to fall in the second battle. I'm so sorry - the woods just isn't going to be the same without her.
Though as two dragons leave us, two dragons join. Varley and Celyn's nest hatched today and two of their three eggs made it. The two boys joining us are a little lacy and the one who is up for adoption with Dusk has faceted eyes.
