The hatchlings are freaking out. They heard the word "tornado" and all hell broke loose. Stardew sighs heavily. When did this become his life? Nevertheless, somebody has to do something. "QUIET DOOOOWWWWNNNN!" he bellows. The hatchlings abruptly stop screaming, honking, chattering, singing, whatever the heck they were all doing. They all turn to him as one, blinking owlishly. "We have a plan for natural disasters, little ones. There's no need to panic. Why don't you all come to the kitchen and help me gather what we need to go down into the storm shelter?" "Oooooooooooo do you mean the BUNKER?" one of the little Tundras asks, his fur sticking straight out from excitement. "BUNKER?" Stardew splutters. Where do these kids come UP with these things? But he needs to keep them busy, get their minds on something besides what they are sure is their impending doom. "Yeah, sure, kid. The bunker." Now they're excited. It takes several minutes for their excited chatter to die down, but once it does, Stardew starts handing out assignments. "Ok, all you kids who like to eat bugs, listen up! She sleeps and breathes bees (but would never eat them, poor things), and they're more than just her title or job description: they're practically her life. But one little-known fact about Tallia is that she's also really good with plants and produce. Why wouldn't she be? Those are the things bees pollinate, of course! Even dried, canned, or pickled, she can make any fruit palatable. Tallia pulls out a large bag of dehydrated [gamedb item=19154] (bonus: dried food) and pours them into her mixing bowl. They're followed by two cans of [gamedb item=163](bonus: canned food) and a mixed bag of [gamedb item=863]slices- on second thought, she slices some [gamedb item=36317]as well. They need enough to feed three judges, after all. Apples are a fruit with variations native to all flights, so they should be easy for any survivalist to acquire. Plus, an apple a day keeps the healer dragon away! Finally, Tallia finishes the fruit mix off with a jar of pickled [gamedb item=14] (bonus: pickled food). A wonderful mix of sweet, sour, and tangy, they finish off the fruit salad nicely. So far the mix is on the bitter side, but it has to be for the next step to succeed without making everything too sweet to enjoy. Tallia takes her bounty of fresh [gamedb item=2413]and drizzles honey liberally into the fruit salad (bonus: honey) before mixing and finishing with another round of drizzle on top. Even the hardiest survivalist needs to treat themself sometimes- and with this mix of preserved and easy-to-acquire ingredients, a sweet, tangy dessert shouldn't have to pose a risk to anyone's life!
It's time.

She's been here since the first day. Plotting. Planning her way into this cooking competition, making her initial promotional moves. Slipping in through the cracks.

And now she's the only dragon for the job.

END-TIMES FRUIT SALAD

Beekeeper Tallia knows bees better than any dragon.

Tallia pulls out a large bag of dehydrated Fig (bonus: dried food) and pours them into her mixing bowl. They're followed by two cans of Blackberry(bonus: canned food) and a mixed bag of Granny Smith Appleslices- on second thought, she slices some Dusky Applesas well. They need enough to feed three judges, after all. Apples are a fruit with variations native to all flights, so they should be easy for any survivalist to acquire. Plus, an apple a day keeps the healer dragon away!

Finally, Tallia finishes the fruit mix off with a jar of pickled Aether Cherries (bonus: pickled food). A wonderful mix of sweet, sour, and tangy, they finish off the fruit salad nicely. So far the mix is on the bitter side, but it has to be for the next step to succeed without making everything too sweet to enjoy.

Tallia takes her bounty of fresh Honeycomb Fragmentand drizzles honey liberally into the fruit salad (bonus: honey) before mixing and finishing with another round of drizzle on top.

Even the hardiest survivalist needs to treat themself sometimes- and with this mix of preserved and easy-to-acquire ingredients, a sweet, tangy dessert shouldn't have to pose a risk to anyone's life!
