O-hoh, you've opened up a can of worms for me, how's ten for you? All from the same set of OCs, on top of that. Aside from the first here, I call them the Variants. Feel free to read their lore if you want but don't feel like you're required to. They've actually all had their lore adapted to make sense within FR canon.
First one, Emblem here, only gets in on a technicality because he shares the same position as my persona, who has his own Variants, but Emblem is not a direct reflection of said persona (in fact, he's a much darker one).
Then, the Variants themselves. Since the initial persona came from my Minecraft profile and skin, they're all variants (duh) of the persona based on different Minecraft precious blocks.
Coal: Initially based on exploration (bc coal makes torches), I added in cartography and later hunting with a bow to the OC and this is what he's got now.
Iron: No surprises here, he's based on mining and excavation.
Gold: Oh boy, so when making the OCs, Gold was figured out last and was essentially given everything that hadn't been assigned to someone else: monster loot and potion brewing mainly. He's a real jack of all trades but he knows quite a lot so he's an Imperial. I also decided to make him a good chef because why not.
+alt view without the Alchemist Eyewear; I like to imagine that Gold's true default look is with the goggles themselves but without the soot on his snout.
Lapis: Adapting his lore was a bit tricky. Being Lapis, of course he's based on enchanting, but that makes a bit more sense with Arcane while lapis gives off more Water vibes. I decided to make him a former librarian with great memory of the Variants' former lives (it's a lore thing, I'd love to talk about it if you want).
Redstone: DOES NOT EXIST SADGE. I'm working on getting him right now. He's got both redstone and copper vibes bc that just makes sense. I decided to make him a Coatl mainly as a reference to a joke I make: thing his, while he understands English (or Draconic), he spends so much time using jargon about his machines it still sounds like he's talking in another language.
+view without goggles to see his eyes (of course he's Lightning)
Emerald: Initially an OC meant to specialize in relations with villagers, I decided to take his defining patience and move it towards his abilities to bond with familiars. I also gave him the farming/gardening profession to take one thing off Gold's plate.
Diamond: Resident
dirty capitalist, need I say more? Well, maybe a bit, he's also really defensive of the others.
Quartz: This guy and Purpur have some of the most adapted lore. Quartz, of course, is based on the Nether, and I decided to take how he ventures through the Nether scavenging for rare metals and materials (in MC: Netherite). He's a metaphorical and literal hothead. He's also still afraid of beds!
Purpur: Purpur was initially based on the End, but I just decided to turn him into a powerful Arcane magister. It kinda works out because I always thought of Purpur as a largely silent character (even for a Fae). Furthermore, in lore, Purpur knew the spell that, in essence, created the Variants.
