As Ahb grew under the Fae Lord's possessive affection and the desert Warlord's bruising yet obsessive attention, he quickly realized his own story would never matter in their eyes. He was just another piece within their beautiful game of love even though he yearned not to be. The Prince whom was brought into existence through magic and greed alone does not know himself when it exactly started, but he soon began craving the very same sanguine ichor that was always driving his already maddened father madder.
