As a musician, I am legally obligated to support this, however I'd like to add on oboe! The two instruments are relatively similar in shape, although oboes generally don't use neck straps to my knowledge, but other than that they're pretty much the same. Also bassoon. Please, the idea of a snapper playing an absurdly huge bassoon is so funny to me, you don't even know. Justice for my double reed friends!!

As such, there are lots of players who would like some gear that suits their characters' lifestyles and professions.
Fishermen, sailors, beachcombers, dockworkers... there are so many good ideas for apparel sets here! I know myself and many others have expressed some desire to actually dress our dragons in practical, environmentally-fitting apparel- so I've drawn out a few of my ideas to show!
Below are sets of mock-ups, divided into groups of 6 for length's sake (just concept sketches- open in new tab to see full size). I'll likely be sketching out more designs in the future as well.

Who doesn't love dockyard specters?). Also included could be a covering of barnacles across the dragon's hide. Apparel like this could include bone-plate armor from various aquatic beasts (sea-serpents, whales, etc.), but for this set, I took inspiration from prehistoric fish called placoderms (specifically [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunkleosteus]dunkleosteus[/url]). Worn metal fastenings and rope could complete the weathered mariner look going on here. Also included could be a sort of harpoon or harpoon gun, as was common for whalers in the 17th-18th centuries (ex: [url=https://i.imgur.com/RMtbCzY.jpg]x[/url]). Traditional harpoon weapons certainly fit the '1920 or below' technology level on Sornieth. If the industrial vibe isn't what the Flight Rising artistic design is going for, then older hand-held harpoons work too (ex: [url=https://i.imgur.com/ZquZ2LG.png]x[/url]).
[*] Shark-tooth scavenger's set. Apparel like this could include shark-tooth bound jewelry and sinew wraps, which is a fairly typical look for many real-world cultures associated with the sea (ex: [url=https://i.imgur.com/Cas77uA.jpg]x[/url]). Serrated knives and tools made from shed teeth could also be used- even entire shark jaws slung around the dragon's neck to make for some extra flair!
[*] Poison-spine gatherer's tools. Apparel like this could include armor coverings made of sharp bones and spines (specifically, those like the 'mirage puffer spines' & 'daydreamer's spines' items below). Also included in this set could be some tools for a shallow-water scavenger, like a hooked hunting spear and some useful containers for the dragon's finds!

Sea-worn leather could form various belts and straps on the clothing, along with sturdy rope. A wristwatch could be sewn into this leather arm wrap, giving dragons a way to check the time easily! - Reef-hide coral. Apparel like this could include arching coral colonies growing from the dragon's body, forming a self-contained reef ecosystem. A branching crown, mantle, limb + hip covers, and wing pieces could complete the set. The type of coral could vary, but I used the site's 'dragonhorn' & 'staghorn' corals. (ex: x, x)
- Dead eel's regalia. Apparel like this could contain sharpened fish bones and rope, tied together to form an intimidating mask and adornments. To complete the deep-sea wyrm look, some moray eel companions could slink and slither around the dragon's form. (ex. x, x)
- Kelp forest keepers. Apparel like this could include large swaths of sea weed or kelp, trailing along the dragon's body and wings. This style could suit not only those within the saltwater kelp forests, but also eerie kelpies or riverfolk emerging from the freshwaters. Also included in the set could be some playful otter companions! (ex: x, x, x)
- Seaspray explorer's set. Apparel like this could include nautical navigation tools, such as compasses, sextants, telescopes, and maps carried on the dragon. Bundles of rough sailing fabric could be hoisted on the wings and on clothes- even covering the face in a bandana. Sea-worn leather could form various belts and straps on the clothing, along with sturdy rope. A wristwatch could be sewn into this leather arm wrap, giving dragons a way to check the time easily! Finally, a seabird companion tags along for the ride (drawn here as a skua, though a petrel or albatross works too). (ex: x, x, x)
- Wavebreak followers. Apparel like this could include........well, some friendly dolphin companions tagging along with your dragon through the sea! (This would have been the set for both the cetacean companions AND whalebone scrimshaw apparel, but some artist got lazy. So. That'll get done... eventually.)
... aaand that's all I've got done for now! If the inspiration strikes, I'll be drawing more designs in the future too! Some ideas so far from good suggestions in this thread and elsewhere:
- Dockyard/ laborer apparel. Utilitarian cloth + tools for packing, hauling, and shipping cargo. Large crossover with terrestrial cultures. Uses gaff pole for snagging ropes and fish (also as a distanced weapon, ex. dishonored). Bundles of workman's rope tied at hip? Needs to be multipurpose.
- Selkie apparel. Seal companions lounging around feet, larger seal pelt strung along back + neck. Coldwater style inspiration; thick furs and arctic bone harpoons in design. Hip belt holding throwing spears? (ex: x, x, x)
- Scrimshaw. All sorts- wearable bone charms, braided into necklaces, inlaid in whale-skin wrapped cuffs/ masks. Focus on melodic/ historical premise of whalesong; waist-worn bundle of bone tablets inscribed with sea song? Go along with dolphin companion apparel (drawn above) for set appeal.
- Cormorant fisherman apparel. Bundled nets, water-skins, woven baskets, poles with perched cormorant companions. (ex: x, x, x)
- Fish-scale armor. Tightly-connected mail, made of overlapping rounded fish scales. Would work with some small schools of fish swimming around the dragon (like the 'warmwater wanderers' but... not so busy. More like the 'summer swelter' apparel, but with silvery blue fish).
- More aquatic companion apparel. Animal apparel like deep sea fish, jellyfish, starfish, etc. placed near/ on the dragon.
- Different types/ styles of fins (tail, back, limb, flowy, etc.). More biological body-mod type apparel, like the 'thresher flatfins'.
- More weapon and tool apparel. Stinging anemone pauldrons / shallow-water throwing spears/ baskets of crab pots/ oystering tools/ fish scalers/ etc.
- Fish hook earrings (for ears/head fins + wings?).
- Sea-glass/ driftwood/ abalone/ etc. jewelry.
- "Armor pale as the sands adorned with deadly spikes and shimmering shells alike."
