TOPIC | Option to opt out of Coliseum captcha

I'm farming for items in the lower areas and because I've clicked the wrong thing in the captcha too many times I was booted out and now can't continue to play, which is annoying. I was also getting annoyed with them in the first place because they're useless when you have level 25s in a level 5 area wiping things out with one scratch.

An option to opt in and out would be nice. Now that I'm thinking about it, having the dialogue that pops up when you try to enter the coliseum again tell you how long you have to wait would be good, too.

EDIT
Nevermind, about the opt out suggestion, I had no idea it was implemented to stop bots. But maybe making the images easier to see (less busy, bigger dragon images) and when you get too many wrong in a row show how long you have to wait, and to stop botters from programming around the wait make the time random?

Considering the admins added the captchas to attempt to counter botting, they aren't going to disable them or allow you to opt out. The stat bonuses were introduced in an effort to help make up the inconvenience of the captchas.
Botting, especially in a feature like the Coliseum, can be extremely damaging to the game's economy, and it is our responsibility to make sure we do as much as possible to prevent these types of players from exploiting it. To help combat this, we will be adding a CAPTCHA activity called Camping that will appear periodically after Coliseum battles and require the player to click an image to prove they aren't a robot. We know. CAPTCHAs aren't the most fun thing in the world, which is why we'd like to reward legitimate players for using ours! Each camping activity will offer to buff your party for the entire duration of the next battle you participate in (excluding PVP).
What I do think needs to be done, is clean up the captchas so they aren't so difficult. In addition they need to introduce an alternative captcha that isn't so vision dependent for those who have vision differences (color blind, partially blind, etc) One of the easiest ways to simplify the captchas would be to use less distracting backgrounds, and simple dragons like the one they previewed in the Words on the Winds The image should also be larger or at least when zoomed in on, not pixiliated to help with identification of the dragon I've never been booted for missing the captchas but they should have a count down til you can play if one doesn't exist.

That would kinda defeat the point of the captchas, which is to prevent botting ;P If this were implemented, people that use bots would just use that so that they can bot freely.

No objections to it telling you how many minutes you have to wait, though.

No support. Captchas aren't just for fun, they're necessary anti-botting measures to improve the functionality and speed of the site for us users who actually play rather than setting up a program to play for us.
My objection would be that this would allow botters to program their bots simply to wait the allotted amount of time.

Yesterday was the first day I logged in in probably a year, so I'm pretty behind on the new updates. I didn't realize they were to stop botting, so nevermind my suggestion (I'll edit my post), but maybe the images could be easier to tell the dragons apart in as DragonSage said. They're way too busy as they are now and I couldn't tell the difference between some.

But, there isn't a countdown that I can see. I've looked multiple times.

If we had this option, who would actually use the captchas? Serious question. The captchas are there to prevent the economy to be flooded with coli-exclusive items - nobody really wants to go back to the era where Golem Workshop apparel and vistas were worth 10 gems a piece.
No objections to it telling you how many minutes you have to wait, though.
Would substantially help bots.
First, I've been gone from the site for a long while and until a few posts up I didn't know that the captcha was to prevent bots. I thought it was just a feature added to help you stay in battle with a small perk. So yes, I now know why the captcha is there and I get that if people had the option to not use them 99% would choose not to, so my original suggestion is now void. If you saw my response from above I had asked if a random amount of minutes could be given each time you get the captcha wrong enough to have to wait. Wouldn't a random time also hinder the bots?

@Pepsi
It would be very easy for a bot to pick up the time from the page.
