The last adventure had gone well – Nerys was very amused by her mother's exasperation at the dragon that Talfryn had brought home – so he decided to explore some more.
On one of his expeditions around the Southern Icefield, Talfryn, um,[i] discovered[i], a series of ice caves. The fact that the only way in was through a suspiciously Guardian-shaped hole was merely a coincidence.
One of the three possible paths – the [b]left[/b] path – has a series of...wait, are those frozen acorns?!
The [b]middle[/b] path is a bit more typical, a little dirty, but well-trodden.
The last, [b]right[/b] path reminds Talfryn of the typical "light at the end of a tunnel" phrase – because it is glowing.[/i]
Nerys was gone again.

As Talfryn curiously, but carefully, followed the path, he began to notice more and more acorns. They grew less frozen – probably newer, he thought to himself – until he happened upon an incline. Talfryn emerged into a small, grassy meadow – and in the very center was a creature, happily snacking on a large pile of acorns.

As he took a closer look, he realized that it wasn't dirt at all! There were brown threads and feathers strewn all over the path – and even some suspiciously hard white stuff. Finally, the Guardian dragon reached a dead end – and right in front was a pile of brown clothing.

He barely held himself back from speeding up, knowing from experience that going faster would only make him more susceptible to falling victim to a trap or hole. Soon, he reached what appeared to be a dead end – except, the ice wall in front of him was glowing quite a bit, and he could almost see…the outline of another dragon? Unfortunately, there were no sharp objects around the cave, but Talfryn pulled out his sharpest arrow and set to work chipping at the ice. If he hit those points, the wall should...he was suddenly blinded by a bright light as the wall crumbled in front of him.
