At the moment, I think the most inactive fandom I’m in would have to be Animal Kaiser! A lot of my love for it comes from the fact that the game has cards, which you win each round you play on the arcade cabinet and use in matches; I like collecting them!
To give a quick rundown, Animal Kaiser is an arcade-cabinet game made by Capcom, where you can fight as a vast variety of animals from our world(and, in some versions, beyond!) against opponents to determine who’s truly the strongest. It’s fairly simple to get into, it’s silly(some of the attacks are endearingly strange), and I think it deserves more attention than it gets! I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone else that actually knows what it is(likely in part due to the limited locations to find the cabinets), although I’m hoping that’ll possibly change with the release of newer versions!

Omg I was gonna mention Fossil Fighters! I miss those games so much, and even if Frontier wasn't exactly what I was expecting, I didn't want the series to just fall off like that! It's such a cool game series, I wish it was as big as stuff like Pokemon, since it derives its creature designs from actual extinct animals, and it tends to have a super wacky story.
As for my own dead fandoms.. I'm in The World Ends with You fandom. Not completely dead, since we got NEO: TWEWY back in 2021, but the fanbase is still super small and not all that active.
Or Pokemon Special, that manga series is genuinely so fun, I enjoy it more than the games nowadays.

i see that your username is the beta name for twewy's original project :]

CPU Kerfuffle! It's not "dead" but it's probably smaller than some "dead" fandoms. That's a confusing statement but what I mean is that the fandom isn't gone (although it is much smaller now that the series is on potentially-permanent hiatus), but it was always so small that it's dwarfed by fandoms for previously-popular-but-now-inactive media. I think I've been the only person to mention it on the FR forums? It's always bizarre to run into anyone who has ever heard of it.
Oh wow, Fossil Fighters! What a blast from the past. I'm not in the fandom persay, but I loved it as a kid :D I only ever played the first game, I didn't even realize there was a third one until just now ^^;
In fact, I think I still have the game somewhere. I should try booting it up,,,

Stargate SG-1. My favorite childhood TV show, and truly the show that shaped the person I am now. There’s like 0 currents fandom for it.
I also think the magnus archive is a little dead. I have some struggles finding fan content, but I don’t think its totally dead.

I’d say the Drawn to Life fandom is pretty much dead. The third game really didn’t help the already small fanbase, either.

Raised By Wolves. Sadly the fandom was almost non-existent when it was airing as well. I wish there were more people who watched it!

I've never met another fan of Vienna Teng (one of my favorite music artists)! I find this shocking.
Edit: Oh. And I've never interacted with the 12 Angry Men fandom, but I would be very surprised if it was active

Could also mention DC's Legion of Superheroes, a comic series that was at it's peak of popularity like 40 years ago. Yes, there's a cartoon, it's niche too.

perhaps webkins? i feel its similar to this site where its a niche for some people who still love it a dozen+ years later. I think I'd also consider homestuck on the mnore inactive side of things lately? tbh most of my fandoms are music or anime related, most of which are *far* from inactive haha

Vienna Teng is my favorite performer of all time! I've seen her in concert four times, my first dance at my wedding was to 'Harbor' (which she joked about when we met her at one of her shows), and my tumblr name is 'thestorieswesay' (from 'Eric's Song').
