I wish it was at a different time of year. I've wanted to do NaNoWriMo for many years, but it's simply not feasible for me to have that much time off work during my busiest work month of the entire year (*hisses at people who leave Christmas shopping til the last minute*).
Now, if there was a novel writing month in, say... August it might be doable.

trying to do it this year, despite my hoard of assignments from ap lang and ap psych...
wanted to do it for a while, and i know if i dont do it now i wont ever! i never finish my stories, so im hoping this peer-pressured deadline will help me lol

I'm participating, shooting for 75k this year. I crushed 60k last year so I think 75k is a good goal? I don't know how realistic it is though, since I'm working and have commissions to do. Oh well, it's only 2.5k words a day so I think just setting aside 2 hours a day will do.

I'm looking forward to NaNo!
I have yet to decide on what I am writing, which isn't super great, but I have a couple of really vague ideas. It honestly kind of snuck up on me this year. I have a feeling that the story will probably be a bit of a mess, but that's part of the fun I suppose.

we might participate, not sure what we'll do though. we have a story idea for a system and their friend who's a mind-reading alien, so we might just do that.

This gave me the idea of writing a novel about my clan lore... honestly, probably going to do that, there's a lot of backstory to it and I just realize that the number of dragons who I would say are 'main characters' in it is only seven? Maybe eight if I add the one I exalted and made mostly moot? It's surprisingly reasonable.

I have tired it a couple of times (managed to get to the end first time but never since). I have ignored it the last year or two due to personal issues (put off all writing) but I feel ready to try again.
Have some ideas for fanfics. Both pures and crossovers.
Also have some idea for writing a manuscript for a story based game (learning python with goal of making games).

I am doing it this year!! ... but It'll be a little weird. My goal is just to work on a Chapter each day. :) My book is mostly done (The first part I mean) and I want to edit and have a chapter ready to post every day ^^
