A: Edgar, who is a courier dragon, used to be responsible for delivering items you buy in the marketplace and into your inbox. The devs saw that this was very tedious to have to always retrieve them from your inbox after buying something so all the courier dragons were retired from dealing with the marketplace. Edgar, however, may sometimes forget that he's not supposed to do this anymore and may take the bought items and put them in your messages inbox instead of them directly going into your hoard. So go check your inbox, it might be there.
Q: Why can't you find a bone fiend familiar anymore???

A: In ye olden days (2013 - 2014ish), Flight Rising had a unique retirement system where if an active familiar reached a quantity limit (this would usually be about 100 - 500 on-site total to ensure value, but still have enough for players), then it would be indefinitely retired. Back in the day, it was quite a common and popular familiar, and by popular demand, had its quantity limit raised to about 1000. Since the playerbase was pretty small and niche, this was enough for 95% of the playerbase to have one or two Bone Fiends. In the following years and as the playerbase grew, the old retirement system was proving to be outdated, so it ended up getting cut out.
If you wonder why it's so hard to get one, it's because most of the playerbase who had one is either inactive or has the familiar stored away for safety. Any sales are sure to be quite expensive since it's pretty popular in the fanbase.
Q: What is this mysterious "Egg Rot" that people on FR talk about? Can it make my dragons sick, and can you cure it?

A: yes egg rot is very dangerous and contagious! If a dragon gets sick from egg rot, they'll stop eating and eventually disappear from your lair. Baldwin can make medicine to cure it, but Crim stole the recipe, if you get lucky you might pull it from Pinkerton's pile!
Q: I got an egg in the coliseum, what do I do with it?

First you pair that familiar to a dragon, then you gotta give the dragon an instrument apparel item. Now take that dragon to the coliseum, as the dragon gets hit the instrument will make sounds that have a chance to wake up the familiar, the chance is equal to how many percent of the dragon's max hp the hit is.
What do I do with these broken shields, arrows, and swords I keep getting?

You can put them in Baldwin's pot with alchemy materials to restore them into other items such as food, apparel, random items, etc. with a small chance of getting event-exclusive genes and apparel.
Next: What's the difference between the four types of food items?
