nothing wrong with having preferences!!! i myself stick to only a handful of breeds :') and ridgebacks are only tentatively one of them-- i've only got two permas (afaik lol)

Banskel has, after years of practice, managed to overcome his breed's aversion to water. Well, mostly. Sort of. He can look at the sea without getting irrationally angry, at least. Most days, that is. Maybe he'll find a retired raptorik captain in need of a bodyguard or an accomplice. When it comes to buried treasure or actual piracy, he's the dragon for the job, as long as he can keep all four feet firmly planted on dry land and doesn't need to go near a boat.

Oh man... I need to get to sleep so I can't reply to everyone at the moment, but I am still finding these all fascinating and am looking at each and every one.
I think I'm beginning to circle a concept for the personalities of a breeding pair, even though I am not at all sure what they'd look like. I'm still waffling on what genes I like and dislike on them. Since I never scry them, how some genes look on them has already come as a surprise.

I didn't like them much when I first got here but Ridgebacks have really grown on me lately. I only have one perma rn but he's one of my favorites
