BIOGRAPHY
In the prophecy foretold by the seer Muerto, there would be a great darkness, and with it the unseen rise of undead in Sornieth that would lead to decimation and ruin for many dragon lairs. However, he received an omen of how to prevent this disaster and save the lives of countless dragons. So with the aid of his clan, the seer sought out a dragon that appeared in his visions. Like Muerto, this dragon had both the multigaze and the same map of his skeleton. But unlike Muetro, this dragon’s body was not weakened and broken but hardy and strong. This dragon, the tundra Diablo took up the mantle as the first Illuminator under Muerto’s instruction.
However, Muerto warned him that to truly fight the undead Diablo must become one step closer to death himself. By sacrificing an important aspect of his living self, in ritual he would gain the knowledge and skills necessary to wage a war with the malicious undead, and master the spirits that did not inherently require destruction. Diablo readily accepted his duty, and sacrificed his sense of smell. No longer would be of normal tundras, but he did not lament the loss. Rather, he looked forward to the future to find others with his same steadfast, dutiful desire as himself; To find those willing to sacrifice themselves in order to save Sornieth. |
