I have two dragons with Gembond and two with Scales, I think they are both hit and miss genes and you either love them or hate them.

The thing about Gembond is that it looks really good on Skydancers and Coatls and really uncomfortable on practically everyone else, to me. I don't have any coatls with gembond at the moment, though I'm on the verge of impulse-buying one because I looked, but here's a scry of a coatl who currently has Firefly and would probably look better with gembond:

I like the way it fans out nicely on the wings, and unlike some other breeds/poses (F Imps are especially bad for me) it doesn't look like it would be wildly uncomfortable.
