Born August 31, during the 2024 Flameforgers Festival.
Born alongside her brother during the festivities celebrating the fire flight and the very deity who saved the lives of their mothers, this Plaguebaned has made it her duty to travel though Sornieth in search of others in need of the Flamecaller's blessing. Blessed like the priest from the Firestorm Refuge, Visage, she taught the siblings how to wield their blessings for good and how to instill Her cure in those who need it. Nessie, unlike her brother, has decided that she's learned enough. She wants to go out and help people now, not later, and explore and learn as much as she can.

For one reason or another, Nessie had found herself in the vast expanse of Dragonhome. She had wandered in search of a place to not only call home, but a place where her skills would be useful. She wanted to see what the world had to offer and to travel places she had only heard about. While a part of her may yearn for her home back in the Firestorm Refuge, she knew that it was not her place to stay. A mental promise was made to visit her parents at some point. During her travels, before entering Dragonhome, Nessie had visited a handful of other places. She gathered bits and baubles, knowledge, experience, and most importantly? She learned new ways to utilize Her blessing.
While traveling, Nessie came across other dragons who were afflicted from one thing or another. She did what she could to help them but she quickly learned that there were simply some dragons who would rather keep the blessing of their deity and work through the illness. She didn't understand, why not accept the blessing and come under the Flamecaller's protection? Destroy the disease at the source and prevent any future issues? As such she had to learn a modified version, one that would have the same effect of purging the individual of disease but without Her flames overtaking the dragon. It was hard work, but she was able to discover that by creating a potion and blessing it, that the effects would be temporary but effective. It took many tests, and many willing dragons who wouldn't care if they came to be one of the Flamecaller's many children. It was perhaps the hardest thing she had learned to do, but she was thankful, this would allow her to help more dragons in the long run.
Nessie traveled with no clear goal in Dragonhome, until she stumbled across a cozy looking tavern-esque building. She was tired of traveling and wanted to rest. Upon entering the building she noted a crackling fire against one wall that filled the open room with a cozy warmth. There were tables and chairs decorating the room as well as plants. There was a corner with cushions and a full quilt rack, but what drew her attention the most was the Fathom behind the counter chatting with a patron. Browns and greens highlighted by orange, the flickering lights of floating lanterns dancing along their scales. She approached the counter, and after finishing the conversation with the other dragon, the Fathom came to greet her. He introduced himself as Rhamnello, and welcomed her to the Dry Oaks Tavern.
They lost track of time chatting, Rhamnello excusing himself every once in a while to take care of any customers that came through. During their time chatting, they learned more about each other than expected. Nessie confessed that her one big drawback to her potions were that none of them seemed to have a good taste. While they were good medically, it was often a struggle for other dragons to finish off their prescribed dosage due to one taste or another depending on their ailment. It was at this time that Rhamnello offered her a job, stating that she was good company and he'd like to help her with her potions.
To her own surprise she agreed, and after trial and error they created a new menu for the tavern. The menu was named "Bottles o' Blessings", and featured Nessie's potions as tasty drinks. The potions were now cleverly disguised, not even an aftertaste to wince or grimace at. Outside of her potions, Nessie still performs blessings to those who wanted to be protected by Her. She felt content in the tavern, delight settling in her chest whenever a patron ordered from her menu.
