Dunlow

When Dunlow was young, he journeyed back to his mother's home clan of Prism Clan and joined his grandfather's acting troupe. He traveled across the lands, not acting but performing magic tricks for different shows that the troupe put on. For years, he was a well-known and highly respected magician.

That was until he was speaking with other magicians one night and realized his methods were entirely unorthodox. In fact, he wasn't performing magic tricks at all. He was actually performing real magic. He decided not to perform anymore and instead work to foster his abilities as a mage.

Some of the mages in the clan are jealous of Dunlow for his innate magical abilities. However, he doesn't feel they should be jealous. He doesn't study endlessly like Ashfall and Gwydion to perform miracles. He doesn't summon creatures from other dimensions like Eden. He doesn't move mountains like Ashma. He's just some guy.

Someday, he will be accepted with open wings by the other mages, but that day is not here yet.

Update: Once Gwydion's studies had been completed, Eden and Ashfall decided that they would take Dunlow as their apprentice. However, they aren't sure if Dunlow is truly devoted to the idea of being a mage. They will just have to see how well Dunlow does.
