Occupation: Innkeeper  | Familiar: Teller  Hatched on plague territory and cast out immediately by her birth clan for unsettling appearance and unnatural behaviours, she was left as a hatchling in a small hole carved into the terrain of the wandering contagion. The events that caused Clan Deepsight to migrate from the plague flight's domain to the Starfall Isles are still unknown, but at the time Clan Deepsight had been floating somewhere near the border, and a patrol just so happened to catch sight of her tiny and still-wet body trembling against the harsh rotting dirt. She was taken in, fed, and had the traits that her birth clan had deemed fatal flaws nurtured into adulthood. They named her Beholder, as her countless eyes and peacock markings made her reminiscent of the many eyed mythical beasts. She appears to have converted to arcane just as smoothly and extremely as the clan's other members, but unalike the others she seems to hold some level of distaste for the plague as opposed to embracing it, or looking back upon it fondly. Her familiar, Teller, was rescued from a hungry infestation hound by Beholder as a foal while out hunting, and the two have been inseparable since. Teller hears all, and Beholder sees all. |
