Lottie is hatched nobility, high enough on the coatl chain of command to almost be considered a princess. But princess though she might be, she's nowhere near the first of her parents' hatchlings. Lucky to be allowed to tag along on their travels, Lottie makes the best of it, reveling in the pomp and flair of noble parties as much as she's able.

But no matter how she enjoys the continual sequence of balls and events, something feels lacking. It's not until she's subject to Yuna's clumsy courtship that she realizes what it is she's missing. Yuna's honestly- her inability to lie- stands in sharp contrast to the social games and maneuvering Lottie has grown used to.

She's surprised when her parents agree to arrange their marriage, and delighted as well. Yuna agrees quickly, and the two of them have a wedding that will be remembered for generations to come- before being sent away to the Forbidden Portal's doorstep.

Shocked by her exile, Lottie spends a week in despair before deciding to make the best of it. Exiled, after all, is a harsh word for it. She's here to get her parents on Hemlock's good side, and being miserable will hardly help with that. Setting her mind to hosting events as often as she can, she works closely with the clan's public relations manager, Nebula. And while Yuna makes herself busy with battle preparations more often than not, she is always in attendance for Lottie's parties.

The importance of these events is only magnified by Hemlock's mental collapse. Suddenly, dragons in the clan start looking to Lottie for advice more and more, and she knows that she cannot live up to their needs. When her parents call her back home, she seriously considers it. But in the end, someone else steps up to the plate, and Lottie's life as a party planner- and only a party planner- continues.
