PROGENITOR | CLAN LEADER

The renowned Fae leader of the Shrouded Clan.

Sorien's elemental adept is one of the extraordinary. A living, breathing vessel of Nature itself, the druidic Fae stands as protector to one of the great roots of the Behemoth, laying claim to the limb that branches out from the edge of the Shrieking Wilds into the Worldedge Wetlands. His high attunement to Nature shows itself in the sacred grounds he watches over, covering his territory in plant growth of beautifully abnormal vibrancy and size, with so much as the slightest brush of his scales causing sprouts to blossom under his touch. The clan that has congregated under his care venerate him as a sort of subdeity, with some going so far as to believe he may be a branch of the very Gladekeeper Herself. Even strangers from Flights away will find themselves intimidated under the gaze of his piercing green eyes, awed by the powerful aura of Nature that resonates despite being a Fae of such small size.

Sorien has taken to his duty in protecting his part of the Gladekeeper's sacred tree by blending the Root into the land, weaving the heavily forested vegetation and colossal trees into a tightly knit shell that congeals it entirely from the outside. So expertly masked are his grounds, that its very location is a mystery to those not already well versed in the secret pathways that lead into the heart of the territory, even dragons that have long lived within the boundaries still needing the help of the lantern bearing guides and sentries to find their way back inside. To all that are peaceable to the Gladekeeper and Her land, Sorien offers the sanctuary he has built to any and all regardless of species or element, letting everyone take shelter here as the state of Sornieth becomes more uncertain. From devout worshippers of the Gladekeeper seeking to aid in the protection of one of her sacred Roots, to dragons from distant lands wishing nothing more than to hide away from their past in the farthest corner of the world, Sorien has made his home welcome to all that find it within the tangle of trees, so long as they are willing to preserve the peace and sanctity of the grounds he has cultivated.

"To you deemed worthy, distant traveler, welcome to our refuge here beneath the shadow of the Behemoth. May the earned hospitality of our Shrouded Clan and the endless health of the Gladekeeper become yours..."

The one who has stood by his side since the very beginning, Sorien owes every success in his endeavors to his Guardian, Mire, his most loyal protector and companion. Where he embodies the nurture and growth of Nature, Mire shows its unyielding strength, the protective power of Nature deeply rooted into the soil. No matter what the Fae has asked of her, the Guardian has carried it out to its fullest degree, maintaining the peace within their beloved clan and giving the powerful protection their sanctuary needed to become a true haven for all. Together they demonstrate to the world everything the Gladekeeper has to offer, upholding the runes of Her favor with great honor.
