Biography
Guardian to Sorien and Protector to the Shrouded Clan.
With massive, branching antlers blossoming with leaves, adorning her scales in the bones and feathers left by the wilds, Mire gives an almost divine aura of a Forest Guardian, an embodiment of untamed nature left to grow and carry out its purpose no matter what stands in its way. From the moment she met Sorien and recognized his calling as her most sacred Charge, she has viewed her duty to the druidic Fae as a task entrusted to her by the Gladekeeper Herself, her very being and life's purpose set to carrying out all of his wishes in aiding his protection of the Root and turning their hallowed grounds into the sanctuary he longed to create for those lost at the farthest corner of the world. And with his power shielding their beloved clan from the outside dangers through colossal trees and shrouding leaves, Mire could turn her attention to the dragons themselves, protecting the clan from conflict within. The Guardian has attained a renown among the clan as its Judge, the one ensuring that disturbance is kept in check and clashes among their fold are quelled as swiftly as possible. Newcomers to the clan will be evaluated carefully by her eye, her inquiries pointedly chosen to determine whether their presence is safe to harbor among the already residing dragons, along with any precautions that may need to be taken into account to ensure their successful integration. And for those that have long found their home among the clan, any conflicts that may arise among its denizens are taken to her final judgement. Her presence alone is often all that is needed for the quarreling dragons to put their grievances aside and come to swift compromise, the glint of that hard stare beneath her Roc skull making any problem suddenly much less worth the risk of angering the intimidating Guardian that protected their grounds. Though having Mire's attention directly on your matters is most unpleasant, she's thankfully very straightforward in this regard, not desiring to hear all the frivolous details or demand that she know every aspect of your silly little personal life; she merely wants to know only what will preserve the clan's peace, and nothing more. Her straightforward nature towards her duties often makes its way into her personality, not one to engage in idle chatter and straying from personal talk out of caution that it might sway her judgements into bias. For all her stoicism however, she does take great pride in Sorien and the sanctuary he has built, and if there's anyone you can go to for the full spiel on how his grand vision came to blossom into the thriving clan it is now, she'll gladly tell all. |
