Iris

Iris technically was born in the Tangled Wood, but he’s been with the Brilliant Sky clan for so long that he’s basically an arcane dragon by now. He even helps Zephyr search for lost travelers in the Starwood Strand, and sometimes even does it by himself, because that big white Wildclaw is always off doing important, diplomatic stuff that Iris really doesn’t care about. What Iris does care about, is talking to other dragons (they have so much to say!), sneaking Shadowmist Oysters out of the pantry (sorry, Tomer!), playing with his Grey River Flight familiar (he’s so cute!), playing pranks (tee hee hee), and snuggling with his super-snuggly BFF-slash-mating partner, Indigo. They go down to the coast to gather seafood together, and give each other lots of feathery kisses while they’re down there by themselves. That makes Iris blush, every single time.

When Iris isn’t out looking for lost dragon travelers, he likes to sit around the fire by the lair entrance, and tell the visitors funny stories that usually aren’t true. They all laugh anyway, and Iris likes it when dragons laugh.
