Biography
The door you stand in front of looks no different than the others that line the hollowed out trunk, yet there is a distinct ringing in your ears as you knock.
You are startled out of your thoughts by the sound of breaking glass and what you believe might be books tumbling over.
"Oh, that wasn't right– you can come in!"
Hesitantly, you push the door open. Surprisingly, what you see is not the mess you expected, but a rather well-kept room with star charts plastered against the wall and piles of journals stacked upon a pale, wooden desk.
A Spiral with strange golden markings is, you double check, walking on the ceiling and looking down at you. Their large eyes blink twice as their head tilts to the side. "Oh, I don't recognize you. Are you one of the exalt trainees? How did you get to the upper floors without Rise noticing?"
You explain that you are a visitor, and that Scrym recommended you to the Spiral if you wanted to know more about the kind of magic the Alliance practiced.
The Spiral smiled, then seemed to curl in on itself before descending to the floor, finally obeying gravity. "I'd be glad to share my knowledge with you! You're lucky Mars isn't here right now. He's rather stiff about sharing any information about our origins."
The Spiral flicks her tail, and suddenly the room warps around you, switching out a rather normal bedroom for a study filled with precarious stacks of books and scrolls, constellations glowing on what you assume to be the walls.
Magic hums in the air, as strong as you've ever felt it, and the Spiral looks all too well at ease with this new realm she has summoned.
Iontach was looking for a successor, and Tsukiko needed a heir to pass his knowledge down to.
Mars and Altayr stumbled across the Alliance at exactly the right time.
- Leaks excess magic like a faulty faucet because they would rather not blow up and she can always take it back later. Because of this, Altayr has a rather intimidating aura before she opens her mouth and starts playing up the cute and innocent act.

Altayr Scholar x Mage An unspeakably powerful mage, Altayr draws her power from the stars that illuminate the night sky– as well as the one that casts bright rays of light during the day. When she first entered the clan as a not-yet fully mature hatchling, she was taken in as an apprentice under Tsukiko, a mage of similar abilities that has since gone on to serve the Arcanist. Though rather playful, Altayr is more observative than she lets on, and far wiser than most would think her to be. With Mars as her mate, there would have to be more than one side to this tricky Spiral.
