For one who is so involved in raising their young and guiding them along the correct path, it is no secret among the Alliance that Daz herself isn't exactly a dragon.

Nonetheless, she makes her rounds, making sure the nesting mates are all keeping both their eggs and their health in stable condition. The hatchlings all know her, crowding around with excited chatter. Daz takes the time to listen and respond thoughtfully, to offer meaningful advice and guidance to those who want it.

Daz has her hands full with the Alliance. Many within the clan only nest to provide more future exalts to maintain its honorable standing. Few mate out of actual devotion, though there are certainly some. When the eggs hatch, it is all on Daz to watch over these newborns as the parents dazedly stumble to their rooms for a restful slumber. Some don't even make it that far, facating the nest only to collapse in a corner with their head rested on soft starwood leaves.
