Duisternis started life with no one, hatching in an empty, abandoned lair filled only with bones, stray mice, and the overwhelming smell of mold and death. She survived on the absolute minimum, making do with whatever food she could find. She became an adept hunter at a young age, using her sharp wit where powerful elemental attacks could not aid her.

One stormy night, a lone wanderer had entered her domain. An overwhelmingly massive imperial dragon seeking shelter from the rain, draped in long flowing robes. Duisternis could not hope to pick a fight with this dragon and survive, but still felt intensely defensive of her territory. So together, after much reproach, they struck a deal. One that would one day form the Covenant of Ichor and all it is known for to this day. She found herself comfortably, and perhaps a bit obsessively, in the role of a functional leader within the clan.

She has searched far and wide for whatever remains of her family, although to no avail as of yet. Many suspect they have all perished, but Duisternis holds on hope. In her quest, she had formed strong allyships with the local beastclans, especially so with the talonoks. These allyships led to enemies titling her "The Queen of Crows", a title she adopted full-heartedly.

Many don't trust Duisternis, due to the fact that she is the one who spies and targets other clans for The Daughter, and as some theories might dare to suggest, The NULL. Of course, she is just the messenger, and her faithful guide is just the interpreter.
