Tar
CHARACTER
Lead Scout - Mission Specialist 
Tar is a dragon well known for her fierce attitude and upfront personality. If she has a problem with someone or something, she lets it be known loudly and immediately. Although she is not an unkind dragon, she tends to rub others the wrong way when being so upfront. Tar believes in hard work and will always give each mission her absolute best. Even though she can be harshly spoken, Tar's primary concern is for the well-being of the clan. A loyal dragon, she can put aside her differences if it is of benefit to the majority. Betrayal or disloyal actions to the clan is sure to spark an attack from Tar although luckily this is an extremely rare occurrence. Tar is particularly good at delivering severe tongue lashes if irritated, and if words aren’t enough then her claws are devastating. New dragons to the clan quickly learn that Tar is not to be messed with, and she is generally avoided. RELATIONSHIP Tar has been mates with Sludge for the past 3 years. Sludge is certainly the more light-hearted one of the pair, he welcomed Tar to this clan with a spring in his step and began vying for her attention almost immediately. Sludge understands the complexities of Tar's inner workings, and knows very well how to make her happy. With the formation of the Scouts, Tar along with Sludge set their sights upon Onyx and snapped him up into their den. These days the trio have an intensely strong bond with each other, and like to keep their life quite private. When there is spare time, Tar likes to hang around with her closest friends, fellow Scout members Neltharion and Sinestra . They tend to have similar interests and enjoy spending time together. Tar also became quite close with Onyx's wards, Fossil and Neolith after babysitting them as hatchlings for extended periods. As she is Onyx's mate, they took to looking at her like their own mother. Tar generally gets along with all the members of the Scouts, with a notable exception- Otrera. As soon as Otrera joined the clan, others disliked her due to the uneasy feeling they'd get around her. She has odd protrusions of bones around her face and body that certainly didn't help the situation. Usually Tar would look past these sorts of superficial characteristics however there is one thing she cannot and will not get past- Otrera's infatuation with Onyx. Tar and Sludge are fiercely protective and possessive of Onyx, and have both been particularly nasty towards Otrera to try and ward her off. Although Tar will not do anything to jeopardize a mission, outside of working hours she can be quite vicious towards the Nocturne. All's fair in love and war! ROLE WITHIN THE SCOUTS Tar quickly rose to the level of Lead Scout due to her good eye for danger and ability to think and act in seconds. As a Lead Scout, she is generally in command of day-to-day proceedings, and her role as Mission Specialist means that she assigns each mission to the dragon or dragon team she believes are the best suited. If a mission is too difficult to delegate to any others, Tar will take care of it. Tar enjoys her role and being a part of the Scouts, as it is an active role that benefits the clan- her ultimate goal. |
