Juelrus

Juelrus is sassy, emotionally-guarded, and outwardly beautiful beyond comparison to her sisters. She is the most religiously devout dragoness in her clan and is proud to have gone on a pilgrimage to the Beacon of the Radiant Eye during one of her adolescent years. She has difficulty getting along well with some of her siblings and is often out of the lair with local pearlcatcher friends, among whom she is quite popular at least in part on account of having a light sprite familiar never far from her side. At times Juelrus is frustrated by the stubborn refusal of her clan to let her friends visit and, as a very social gal, honestly feels a bit more at home amidst the hustle and bustle of urban-dwelling dragons on Mirrorlight Promenade than in the subterranean burrows of her relatives.

Her interests include poetry, fashion, gardening, shopping, worship, and lapidary - though finding gems to cut is hard and her experience is quite limited. The prospect of physical combat jars with her sensibilities. For defense she is inclined to adopt the tried-and-true strategy of her friends: keep at a range, fire off bright bolts like there is no tomorrow, and run away at the first sign of serious trouble. To these ends she occasionally receives lessons from Redalgo on the use of advanced magic. From Jacksha, meanwhile, she is interested in picking up helpful hints on how to flirt with and tease drakes. Part of Juelrus really thrives on getting attention from guys but she is nonetheless pained and lonely from having no mate. Her attire is themed to go well with the tones of her scales.
