Redalgo

Adopted at an early age by an impoverished clan on the distant, Shattered Plain, Redalgo was a misfit in youth whose Search lured him off to wander for years before settling in tunnels hewn underpaw of his Charge - an ancient, derelict library deep within Mirrorlight Promenade. Staking a claim to and sanctifying the site meant driving out a cantankerous bunch of adolescent Pearlcatchers, making him many enemies. Though usually compassionate, Redalgo's need for privacy made him paranoid about lair security. Surrounded by old scrolls, he gradually became more scholarly yet less physically fit than most Guardians.

Redalgo is forever bound to Jacksha and most closely befriended by Yalamak, Flambrego, and Rubili (familiar). He works as a political commiseur, coordinating with others and mediating their conflicts to help everyone thrive and develop within the clan. Though not officially in command of the lair, most clanmates see this Guardian as one of two senior leaders entitled to make decisions on behalf of the group without its complete, informed prior consent. Though eccentric and a visionary - resenting the irresponsibility of the gods and lack of interflight unity to restore the sundered Pillar of the World - he usually tends to less weighty concerns.
