Biography
|
Giada Mine was a name that struck fear into men. (and regret into plenty of lasses) One of Goldwood's leaders - in a sense. Giada's a mercenary warlord; she and her warband were originally hired by Mizar and Aine to be the muscle for their coup against then-leader Valewind. They've hung around ever since thanks to the flow of easy money. Only problem is that Mizar's Goldwood is not stable and that flow of money is starting to falter. Giada makes no secret of the fact that she would happily instigate yet another coup for no other reason than to ransack the place - and she has the strength for it, too, even with Mizar's drone army. Needless to say, Mizar has bitten off quite a lot more than she can chew. Giada herself is a cunning dragon, far more so than her crude mannerisms and brutal behaviour would lead you to believe. Quite frankly she's the most intelligent of Goldwood's current leadership - certainly she's the sanest of them. If it weren't for her mile wide cruel streak and utter disregard of common decency she might even be the best option of the whole bunch. As it is, all of Goldwood would be better off with her gone - Mizar would certainly prefer to be rid of her, and Aine loathes Giada's partner Bibou and by association Giada herself. Problem is the aforementioned lack of ability to get rid of her. Time will tell how that pans out. |
Character Notes ♫ Pirate Song, Keelhauled, Town in Chaos • Giada is an awful woman, and she revels in it. She was nobility in the Shadow clan she was born to - keyword was, because as a young adult she was caught after murdering a fellow noble in order to rise up in the ranks. He was far from the first family member she'd killed, merely the first one where she was caught. • Hella Gay, will aggressively flirt with any girl she finds pretty. Which is most of them, Giada is many things but picky she ain't. • Bibou is her partner in crime/murder girlfriend. The fact that Bibou's a zombie doesn't bother her whatsoever; she finds the squeamishness of everyone else re: walking corpse ridiculous but also kind of entertaining. • Misandrist to some extent. She doesn't go out of her way to pick on males and she'll respect anyone who respects her (more or less) but they get harsher treatment if they screw up and she's more likely to be dismissive and controlling. Lord help them if they themselves are misogynist. OOC Notes • Dragon version of a Neopet. |
Notes to self, ignore :D
note to self, bring fornax with the warband once they leave
Could interact with Nyne? Or the Silico/Kris/Zach/Tori group?
Unanchored plot folks also are Juno/Vela/Lupus, Vesper, team sandwich, peri, and iolanthe. And maybe Chappie or rioichi

"A dragon could get used to this," Giada muses. The drone sharpening her killing claw tremors, just a little, and Giada flexes her claw just enough to make him pick it up. The tremors increase.
"Oh, take pity on the poor soul, love, ye'll give him a heart attack afore ye gut him," Bibou calls from across the room. There's no one attending to her, despite Giada's attempts to convince her of the {enjoyment} of it. Then again, most dragons were too squeamish to stick their fingers in rotten flesh no matter how clean it was. Probably not worth the hassle of finding a slave steady enough for Bibou's needs.
Giada muses upon the back of the mirror. Someone else got to him long before her - his back is covered in ropy scars. All things considered he was more than satisfactory at his job. Probably didn't deserve to be scared out if his wits. Then again it wasn't really in Giada's nature to care about things like /deserving/. "Off with ye, lad. Won't have need of you for the night - ye can sleep easy."
He bows, though he doesn't reply verbally. Giada doesn't particularly care either way; the ridiculous displays of bowing and scraping that Mizar demanded weren't her preference. Plain terror and respect were more than enough. He's gone quicker than Mizar would probably like - he's probably picked up on it. Smart lad.
"How's things going, lass?" Giada stretches, luxuriating in her mound of furs.
Bibou hums. "'avin a hell of a time getting this bugger out of me eye. Don't think just me claws are gonna cut it here."
"A second pair o' claws help?"
Bibou hums. "It just might, love - be a darlin and hold things open while I reach in with me tweezers?"
