Biography
Lifted from Gemma
MerlinEmrys' Teapot Clan
Of course, her hearty supplies couldn't make up for the loneliness of travel. All of her wonderful adventures across the sea made Gemma crave some companionship. In her search, she came ashore in the Worldedge Wetlands where she near-crashed upon a date between two rather mismatched Undertide dragons by the names of Stevie and Arlen. They didn't much mind the intrusion, and informed Gemma she had stumbled upon the Teapot Clan - an interesting collection of draconic allies.
Unfortunately, she had just missed a wonderful celebration, and a fellow traveller named Eira. There was, however, plenty left over to share, in both good food and good company.
Gemma got to know several of the dragons in the clan, and spoke of her thirst for dangerous and exciting experiences. When the elders of the clan, Caelin, Gaela, and Auryn learned of her inexperience and foolhardiness, they insisted on teaching her some survival skills.
Gemma followed with excitement as they took it in turns, showing her the Thunderhead Savannah, Forgotten Cave, and Bamboo Falls. She was thrilled to tussle with the likes of Bramble Guardians and Greattusks with powerful allies by her side.
When it was time to part with the clan, Gemma took to the seas once more with newfound confidence, feeling stronger and braver than ever. She couldn't wait to put her new skills to the test and set sail for a brand new adventure.

TRAVEL LOG:
[13 JUNE 2023, CLAN TISANE]
I heard whispers of a magnificent treasure trove somewhere deep in the Shrieking Wilds. I entered the Viridian Labyrinth by sea, detouring through the Worldedge Wetlands to ensure I went undetected. I needed rest - food and shelter to build my strength - before continuing on my mission. I found a clan with plentiful supplies and ate my fill, amazed at how easy it was to swipe resources and treasures alike from this community. I decided to stay a while and do some reconnaissance. Perhaps there's more here that could be of use to me.
[31 JULY 2023, CLAN TISANE]
I've finally been discovered. Gaela claims she had been too preoccupied training a new youngling in combat to notice my presence. Perhaps I should practice my stealth some more after all. Having lived in comfort in the shadows of this clan for far longer than intended, I felt it safe to ask Gaela about the treasure. She told me it was lost long ago, and shared the many stories of where it may have ended up. She also told me rumour has it, a great thief stole it away in the night, and the only clue was a tuft from a Pearlcatcher's tail. I decided to follow this treasure, in the hopes of finding riches and learning more about this mystery thief.

I believe I've slept a long while, this time. I've walked in many dreams.
It can be hard to tell where I am, when I am here.
I started my journey wandering the ruins of an ancient battle. There was a brave fae, older than many I've met before. He had fought this war, I could tell, but now he stood among the wreckage, planting seeds and watching them grow before his eyes.
Beside him stood a proud mirror, carrying seeds of her own. The two of them tended the lands they had once scourged, nurturing new life around them.
I did not know the history of these dragons, but the sentiments were clear to me.
The dream became a haze, and faded, and I travelled on, into the minds of younger kin. I parsed the not-memories and wish-lives of the newly-hatched and flight-weary. A nature-born Banescale dreaming of fire and hearth, burning flames licking at bright scales, flickering playfully between distant nestmates. A shared warmth.
Fading into smoke, into darkness and glittering cold.
The crystalline dream-palace of a Gaoler, kin of shadow. Sinking vast claws into soft snow, bark-rough eggs of long-hatched babes nestled in her warm fur, protected from the world they roam in the waking world. They share the ice-sharp destiny she covets, yet still she holds them close.
I watch the close-held wishes of young dragons, then watch their eggs be hatched and warmed. I see such strange and wonderful things, impossibly distant companions reunited, ships sailed before they're built. I see wants and fears, desperation and love.
I wake up, and travel on once more.

Travel log #3
I was wandering through the peaceful forests of the Viridian Labyrinth, heading for the 'calm, verdant shoals' I had heard other travellers talking about in the Worldedge Wetlands.
I was really enjoying the tranquillity, when a sudden ruckus caught my attention. Interest peaked, I went towards it, only to find an absolute mess of colour and noise. Dragons were running back and forth, carrying great baskets of food and materials. A formidable-looking Mirror sharpened her claws, while a young Obelisk sparred with an old and powerful-seeming Imperial.
There were stalls half set up and everybody seemed excited and frazzled.
It was a tournament! How exciting!
I might stick around for a while and see how this turns out.
~
Okay, I waited for everybody to set up, and the tournament turned out to be a full-blown festival! It was so much fun! There were performers and contests and so much delicious food!
I even met another traveller! Her name is Captcha and she came to sell her puzzles at the festival. She even set up a whole competition! She's awesome and I've been getting a little bit lonely lately (I miss you, Jellybean!), so I think I might follow her wherever she goes next.
