Cold | Cunning | Merciless

“I can smell blood on the wind...”

It is the moment just before the strike that a hunter is born, and it is that moment that forged Thatch. A true predator down to his very core, he lives for the chase, no matter the mark, the time it takes or how far he must travel. He will doggedly pursue whatever target he is set to, silent and unseen, reading the smallest details left behind while leaving none himself. When he strikes it is with a well-practiced precision and finely sharpened instincts, the killing blow comes quick and without hesitation. He meets whatever circumstance he finds with resourcefulness and has never once hesitated because it is instinct he relies on.

Having spent nearly all of his life in the rugged wilderness, pitted against creatures of all types, Thatch has been shaped into a hardened, unyielding hunter with no room for sentimentality in his pursuit of survival. He is cold and calculating and able to pick out the weaknesses of both beast and dragon in no time at all. With such a sharp eye for detail, Thatch's services have occasionally been utilized for hunting dragonkind as well, whether wanted criminals or lost loved ones. Patience is something he reserves only for his profession, outside of a hunt he can be harsh and distant, sparing little thought or effort towards keeping and maintaining good relations with anyone. Instead he lets his skills speak for him, and having spent so many years honing his craft, respect and reverence come easy despite his independent nature. Thatch is always alert and very little escapes his notice.
