"There are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet" Born into the clan, Farworyn spent her younger years in the Sunbeam Ruins, playing among the columns in the Mirrorlight Promenade. From a young age she began to find herself more interested in the pursuit of knowledge than physical prowess. This began to single her out, and while the older dragons, particularly Marigold, were happy to speak with her about whatever she desired to know many of the other guardians her age began to avoid her. As her studies progressed, Farworyn began to look further into the arcane arts, despite her lack of talent for magic. However, because of her small magic reserves, she was soon pushed more and more into learning about physical combat. While she soon became skilled at defense and evasion, Farworyn was lousy at attacking. Before she could get very far in her training to serve the Lightweaver, however, she felt the call to travel. Leaving the clan, she was soon traveling across the land, eventually finding herself in the Ashfall Waste. During her travels, Farworyn avoided other clans, often going out of her way when she spotted a lair on the horizon. Already uneasy around other dragons, she is especially nervous of those who seem strong. While she continued to search for her charge, Farworyn was fascinated by the territory around her. She spent many years in the Ashfall Waste collecting various plants and trinkets before reluctantly moving on. After another year spent journeying, she finally returned to the Sunbeam Ruins, rejoining her original clan. |
Despite being unable to find her charge, Farworyn continued to find enjoyment in the knowledge she had gained from exploration, sharing it with anyone in the clan willing to listen. Every once in a while, when the urge to search gets to strong, she disappears to continue searching, constantly bringing back new discoveries with each trip. Perhaps because she has no bond, Farworyn is extremely protective of her clan mates and is willing to put herself in harms way to ensure their happiness and safety. While she travels alone, she enjoys spending time in the company of others when she is home, although few stick around once she begins to discuss her findings. Despite her unease around unfamiliar dragons, Farworyn makes friends easily with dragons from the other clan in the Gemini Alliance. Recently, Farworyn has begun to grow closer to her clanmate, Elsa. Perhaps due to the time they have both spent trying to fix the other's curse she has begun to have feelings for the other dragon and the two have moved in together. One day on her travels she heard about shackles that were rumored to be able to contain any curse. Setting out to find them, Farworyn finally located them deep in the Southern Icefields after multiple trips searching. Bringing them back to Elsa, she began working to help the other learn how to handle her emotions. The two have only grown closer since. Hobbies: Farworyn likes to collect various objects she finds on her travels. Most of them are from the Ashfall Waste due to her interest in that particular region. Name Origin: Farworyn's name means ember in Welsh. |

Bold combinations of apparel always have such a high payoff, the silky gossamer elegance of the sylvan gown contrasts her bulkier, more industrial looking fire festival apparel really interestingly. You factoring her use of this styling into her personality is really fun too -- she does look extremely eclectic in terms of the range of pieces she wears, but they're all clearly themed around Fire.
Does she take particular interest in the crafting that goes on out there? Metallurgy, jewelry making?
Love the contrast you pull off with her and Elsa too. Their opposing motifs and color schemes? Mwah. osteophagy

I'm always a sucker for volcano themed dragons myself, especially as I'm a massive volcano nerd haha. Farworyn has it all, she looks powerful, menacing, mysterious and in many ways reminds me of someone that would either be a born leader of make for an incredibly compelling villain! Based on her bio she seems to be way too nice to become a villain so I'm going to be settling on the former haha. Lisspeed
