Somewhere lost in the clouded annals of history lies a place that few have seen where long forgotten stories are revealed to those who travel through the wood

Runa. The only light in the thick night of the forest. With her lantern, she guides the poor trapped souls through their autumnal prison.
The sun never rises.
The Darkness never breaks.
The night is long that never finds the day.
Lost.
Their past, their loves, their appearance. The forest is all they know.
Miles and miles, day after day.
After a while, things get foggy.
"Who am I?"
Thoughts are slipping.
Sinister mists envelop the travelers, dulling their spirits.
Far ahead a lantern bobs up, and down.
The darkness on either side gapes open, swallowing all who stray.

Here in the forest, dark and deep, I offer you eternal sleep.

To the last syllable of recorded time.
