The Shadows are living beauty.
Romantic walks in the dusk or dark.
Soft glows and candlelight flickers.
The sun's blanket as it falls asleep.

Shadows enfold memories:
youthful games and elderly talks,
dragon flights in the fading lights.
the cozy campfire edges,
and brilliant fireworks' backdrop.

Both mysterious and lively,
shadows safely tuck inside
secrets of nocturnal creatures,
whispered promises of companions,
containing the fears of many,
never letting them from their care.

Inside shadows, all things can meet.
They're between rest and wakefulness,
all possibilities are real.
Nothing is at all itself, yet
everything is truly itself.

A collision of excitement,
fear, adventure, loss, and great gain;
the shadows favor all the brave.

In the beauty of the shadows,
life itself thrives, grows, continues.

They mimic all that we are.
