Lore

The Camenary is a strange combination of a gothic mansion and an Amish farmhouse deep in the Southern Icefield, though no one can say exactly where. It's encased in a sort of temperate bubble, which seems to shift with the wind and the need for warmth. The outside is quaint in its enormity, and the inside appears bigger; an endless stretch of hallways and unexplored rooms greets the lost and forgotten that take up residence there.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of breed, creed, permanence... intentions. Each one receives a soulbound companion upon arrival, to guide them through the Camenary and serve as a friend in an unfamiliar place. Many stay just long enough to recuperate and continue on their way, but just as many, with nowhere else to continue on to, end up staying for good.
