Nokron

Brambles laced and threaded over the shadowed ground. This land laid a wreck of treacherous thorns and dead, hollowed trees. After what felt like ages of traversing throughout the domain of the Shadowbinder, a peculiar light penetrated through towering, thick shrubs.

Nokryth - Nokstella Once overcoming the brambles and passing through the overgrown gateway, the land gave way to glowing turquoise and cyan mushrooms that dotted the surroundings, radiating throughout the misty fog like small beacons of light for those that dwelled among the dark. Upon gazing upwards, an impressively massive cliff hangs overhead. Large caverns looked to be carved into the cliff, their entrances adorned with beautiful Shadow-emblem banners, floating lamps, and an array of lanterns. A smaller waterfall juts out near the bottom of the cliff, creating a gentle stream that meanders throughout the grove. |
Noxgrove Along the cracked stone path that led into the heart of Nokron, referred to as the Noxgrove, dark blue spirits danced and criss-crossed. Tiny Willow o' the Wisps flickered among the trees, serving to light up the entirety of Nokron with a beautiful teal hue. Alongside the pathway, smoldering bright orange embers crackled upon stakes cast into the ground, lighting the way into the heart of the grove, the middle of Nokron. Centered within the Noxgrove, a decaying, obsidian statue of Shadowbinder sat atop an ornately Shadow-esque pedestal. Flora surrounds the display, a lovely garden sanctuary that also serves as the clan's hub spot for their marketplace. Small shops stand around the idol in a wide circle, with dens reaching further out into the expanse of the grove. Homes were constructed out of large, hollowed trees, and small dugouts or caves that opened up from the splintered lands. Others used fallen logs and thick shrubbery to build themselves a home. |

Wyrmwood Towards the base of the cliff that hangs over Nokron, the forest grows to become more dense, with fewer mushrooms and more shrubs. Several colossal trees poke out amidst the woods, all bearing emblems of other flight's elements. A winding pathway swirls its way into the thicket as lanterns filled with firebugs hang from tree branches. The Flight Barons stow themselves away here, providing services to benefit the growth of the clan. During elemental holidays, these dragons celebrate by adorning the Wyrmwood with all sorts of their flight-specific ornaments, and coordinate celebrations with the clansmembers. |
Although shadow dragons are known for their crude sense of humor and trickery, the dragon-kin taking refuge in Nokron appeared to break that mold. The soothing sounds of flowing water filled the dark, murky air, while some chatter broke through in fragmented bits and pieces.
