Reticent Requiem

Reticent Requiem is a clan deep in the Foxfire Bramble, dug out underneath the murky earth and thorns. The dragons residing in it are most notably survivors of Voiceless Reverence, a Plague clan sieged and eventually destroyed by a Shade Eldritch. The horrors were so great that the survivors would never speak of what happened in that time, and their new clan echoes to their old one. Reticent Requiem contains a steady flow of mercenaries, warriors, and holders of knowledge in a variety of specialized subjects. Diplomats, mages, and assassins also lurk in the shadows cast by ghostly candles lining the paths, but seeking them out would be… unsavory.

The wars this clan wages are far less frequent or physical than in Voiceless Reverence, and noticeable differences in values can be discerned. Rather than being a place of respite in exchange for foods and a clan that waged war out of necessity to survive, Reticent Requiem offers their services of war on more than just the battlefront in exchange for goods they need to survive.

The hushed clan is ever somber, as if in everlasting thought and mourning. Dirt paths weave through the created cave, lairs and posts alight with ghostly lanterns akin to Night Flames. At the center can be found a creation of magic, a sentiment to the lost, an aged and gnarled tree grown from sorrowful magic.

It's not a happy place. It's not a nice place. It is a place for broken dragons to carve out a life in. They have to pull their weight and fight to keep it, but it's their lives and their home that these dragons fight for. The new clan fights less for survival and more for giving life meaning.

All lairs under my jurisdiction are lore heavy.

Voiceless Reverence was my Plague lair within the Abiding Boneyard. It was abandoned after an Eldritch placed it under siege. The few dragons to survive fled to the Foxfire Bramble, forming Reticent Requiem. The ideologies of the clans have a degree of variance, but that is for a later time.

Though presentetly unrelated to these clans, the realm of Anathema, Matriach of Nighthowlers, also falls under my control.
