While wandering lost through the Wispwillow Grove you notice a pathway lit by flickering lanterns. Upon closer inspection the lanterns contain firebugs desperately trying to break free. You stop for a second and consider freeing them but as you reach for the jar a soft voice stops you. "I wouldn't touch those if I were you. One of our mages enchanted them to give any who dared touch it a nasty surprise." You jump, startled, as a Coatl materializes out of the shadows. Every possible bit of her dark skin is covered by dark wrappings and you her eyes glow with a strange white light. You only meet them for a second and a chill runs down your spine. She speaks again breaking you from your thoughts, "You seem lost. May I offer you a place to rest? It's right this way..." She turns and walks down the path without waiting for a response. You hurry to follow and are greeted by the sight of chaos. In a cave lit by only mushrooms you struggle to make out details obscured by the murky glow. Hatchlings scurry around only half tended to by the adults who seem more intent on seeing who can cast the most interesting spell. As you gape in astonishment a hunting party comes back and everyone calms down to help prepare the food. "Join us for dinner if you wish and welcome to the Nočni Lair."
