I'm with you. I'm waiting for my breed out the basic pair to cool down so I can breed them. I'm at the end, trying to get all limited gene's. I've got one, now I need the other two.

I've got another week before I can put together another pair.

My alphabet challenge pair got nested today - 3 eggs. I'll ping once they hatch.

I'm also doing the Long Drop Coliseum Challenge, which I'm starting to wish I'd done before the new venues. LOL

I saw HSoup's thread for the Bred in the Coli Challenge. It looks cool, but I almost never get egg drops in the coli. It could take years just to get three eggs. XD

I really, really want my breeding projects to get done already. I'm down to 2 spaces total in Den and Lair. D:

Hmmm, I may need to look at these other challenges. I got a fire egg to drop last night grinding for Natures gems.

I've had to watch my space again. Sent out several pairs for my DWF project. I should be getting babies back tomorrow. By the time I need to breed derg's again, I should have space.

@Nerilka Oooh can I join the fun too? I LOVE doing challenges. *side eyes my 100 hatchling challenge and stock the pond pair* More challenges! Even the names will be random with the randomizer! Here is Atmosphere, my founder Hunter/Stone/Cherry And here is her stalwart mate, Aster! (Aster came with his name, which I feel like is the same as being randomized) Oilslick/Cerulean/Saffron Round 1: 2 babies! But true randomness is much more fun! Also it's funny that everyone's first nests have been twofers!

Welcome to the craziness Lendri! Looks like you've continued the trend of 2 eggs for your first nest. That is soooo, weird!

The only two ways I like Pied, is with paint or on an all white derg. I've got several pairs of pied/paints, but they're part of the koi subspecies.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about lair space. I remember those days and thats not fun. Sorry for the wall of text, but I love challenges of all sorts on FR. Its what has kept me around all these years. I did start ThousandSunnys Born and Raised challenge and was super lucky to have 3 eggs drop in 4 days. I did spend a crazy amount of time in the coli though. LOL And 2 of the hatchlings had good color combos, so that was a bonus. I'm enjoying it the most of all my current challenges because I can actually progress every day, unlike all the breeding ones. I got a breeding pair for the Stock the Pond, which has been fun. I've hatched a nest from each pair so far. But each pair has at least 1 Imp, so the cooldown will be awhile. I have my regular Prettiocracy Legacy Challenge. which I started when Nerilka and I were talking about Prettiocracys, but I am still waiting to put on the first nest. This Random Prettiocracy of course. Then I still am doing the Rainbow Breeding Challenge, which I began back in Feb of 2017! And still doing the Coli Scavenger Hunt, although I don't record drops for it anymore. But if I ever get the needed item in the venues I have left, I am definitely posting them. LOL I still had Bamboo Falls, Waterway and Golem Workshop when I stopped actively playing. And I'd have to do Forbidden Portal as that didn't exist when I stopped. (I started May of 2018). I have my Pinkerlocke that I took out of hiatus during the pandemic, which didn't last long due to computer issues and not feeling like writing. And lastly, I am always training my permas to level 25. Since I keep getting new dragons, so this is ongoing. LOL _____________ I'd love to links to all your two's challenges. I'm always looking for others to try. I did the long drop way back. I was actually the second person to complete it. [emoji=firework size=1] I've tried a Tooth vs. Nail which was very time intensive. The Give A __, Get A__ Masterlist Challenge. which was fun. The The All the Familiars Coli Challenge (non-Boss mode). That was difficult to complete. That elusive River Muck again. Took forever to get it and then I started the Scavenger Hunt Challenge and Louretta had it as the Waterway drop and I've never seen another since. LOL Similar to the Born and Raised Challenge was my Dragon's Adulting Challenge I made up myself to train a team of 3 dragons to level 25 and them paying for their scrolls and battlestones with what they found in the coli and my fairgrounds winnings. Took 2 weeks, which was good to know. And I've done tons of the regular coli challenges where you farm each venue in order until a familiar drops. Or after 10 unique notable items drop. And Earth's regular festival scavenger hunt in the coli. And I've done the festival coli challenge in the Quest forum a bunch of times. I just started following someones fodderlocke, but it reminded me of my Tooth vs. Nail and that wasn't sustainable for me. So I stick to reading other peoples. LOL And I checked out the Bottleneck Breeding Challenge, but decided not to after I bought a few dragons for it. LOL

@Meadbnb Thank you! I'm excited! I have exactly one dragon with pied and paint and I love him to death, but he is also almost completely covered with apparel. Also, all my nests recently have been two egg nests and it is starting to weird me out a little bit, heh!

@HSoup

Woo! That's a lot of challenges! It keeps things fresh, though, it gives more meaning to all the little pixel dragons. If I get the self control to do born and raised in the coli, that might be my next challenge. I suppose I could do it retroactively with three of my non-nocturne G1s as most of them are hatched from Coli eggs since I have No Self Control. But I think it would be more fun to get three all new eggs and do it. Of course, I only get eggs when I'm looking for hibden materials (or a Foolish Prince, arg)

My hundred hatchling challenge is linked in my sig and I have a stock the pond post in that thread. I love the Imp cooldown because then I can rekindle my enthusiasm for the challenge when it comes round again. I tried a fodderlocke and a pinkerlocke awhile back but I fell off of both of them because it was a lot to maintain every day. The breeding challenges are a little easier because it's a once in awhile thing. I'm toying with a lore-heavy legacy challenge, but we'll see.

It's great to be here! I'm excited to see how everyone's nests hatch out!

Here's my breed out the basic challenge. I just nested my pair again. My fodderlock, isn't worth following. There's no story to it, just a record of my rolls. It keeps me interested in grinding in the collie.

https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2812019/6#post_47444228

I've found I can only do a few things at a time. So, with my two DWF projects and two breeding challenges, I'm done. ::grin:: If I start watching another person's challenge, I'll get sucked in, like I did the breed out the basic challenge. So, please don't be upset if I don't.

@Lendri - Welcome to this challenge! I am glad there are more participants. I think it will be so interesting to see all our outcomes when almost every aspect is random. I didn't get any genes passed down in my first nest, so you might avoid the Piebald. LOL I'm going to check out your 100 hatchling challenge. I don't know if I've seen that one before. And check out what colors you have for Stock the Pond. @/Meadbhb - Ah, I have seen the breed out the basic challenge. Its similar to Legacy challenges I think? I'll have to check yours out and read the rules. I'm fine if you don't check mine out. I just do them for myself really anyway. [emoji=guardian happy size=1] I do like talking about them and learning about new ones. I think I'm a little addicted. LOL

@Lendri Welcome! Come join the breeding [s]craziness[/s] craze! :D You definitely got some cool looking founders! I actually think they will have a nice color range for all three ranges. And that two egg thing is just weird! RNG is having fun with us I think XD You realize you may get a bab with Piebald now, right? RNG is everywhere. *spooky noises. ;) I like piebald with paint and peregrine, but mainly on tundras. I guess they were the first genes I thought looked nice on my progens. Any plans for your founders, i.e. keeping one or the other? Some scries for you because I can! :p (Just let me know if you don't want me scrying your dragons. I'll still do it; I just won't post it here.) Atmosphere - I have no idea if this is her best scry, but it was interesting! I had a feeling you would know which one I meant. I love walls of text! Please pardon mine if you don't. :) I have so many new challenges to read about now! *happy dance I want to try at least some of them, but not until I have more room. I've done the one familiar per venue of course. And I started the all the familiars one but didn't finish it. I should start it again, or just roll it into the long coli drop challenge one since I'm getting so many familiars per venue already. Naturally any boss drops would just be nice since I don't seem any more able to get the bosses than I am to get eggs. :/ I'm also part way through the Rainbow breeding challenge, and stupid me went and got another pair to start use also ..... if or when I have enough room. o.O Plus this challenge and my Alphabet Legacy Challenges of course. I participated in a sort of breeding tournament game in Light last year that was fun. I'm thinking I may need to do it again with just my dragons in order to thin them out. I'm just not sure how they did the tracking form since it looked like a sports game match up type sheet. Hmm. @Meadbhb With the coli, it's whatever it takes to keep you grinding, right? :D I mostly level fodder, level 25s, or ignore the coli. I don't know what a Pinkerlock or fodderlock are, but I may need to try that someday too. Assuming time and space, naturally. ;) I really wish we had dragons with shorter cool downs. The waiting is nerve wracking, and I'm trying not to think about all the nests to come.
