Quests & Challenges

Hey y'all! So I'm planning on making a massive challenge centered around bringing the eleven flights together and helping different flights understand each other's perspectives on things, inspired by @NerdMom 's Nature and Plague diplomacy quests. (Pinging here in case they'd like to help with this.) However, I realized that just doing it alone won't work well since all I have is my Plague point of view and it would take forever to make. So that's where you, other flight representatives, come in! Right now I'm looking for one clan from each flight to help out, though I may open it up to more if it feels necessary.

The challenge itself is going to be a 365 day challenge, with one small quest a day (could be art, writing, rp, coli grinding, irl activities, anything, similar to dom quests). Each flight has 33 small daily quests total, with 11 of those quests relating to how the flight sees the other flights + beastclans. There are also two small quests that link all the flights together, just to fill in the remaining days. There will be an "official quest order" with the flight-specific quests centered around that flight's holiday, but it won't be required, and people can choose to randomize the quests or just do all the ones for their own flight if they prefer. Also there are badges. Of course there are badges. :3

Should you agree to be a flight rep, you will be in charge of designing the 33 small quests for your flight, and most likely coordinating with the other flight reps as well to make sure everyone is satisfied with the quest designs + manage the challenge itself once it's open. Anyone with badge/graphics making skill is highly encouraged to join as well, a little flair to our challenge forum is always welcome!

I'm thinking of making a Discord group chat to organize this, since currently everything I do have planned is stored in Discord. However, if you don't have Discord or would rather use PMs here, that works fine too. PM me or ping in this thread if you're interested!

Oh my! YAY for you starting the project, and for letting me know, and for inviting other people in at the planning stage rather than taking on the whole creation process yourself.

What about dividing up the collaboration further? Someone may have 3 or 5 ideas but not 33, or someone could feel in tune with their element but not want to claim that their perspective represents ALL thousands of that flight. Maybe?

@NerdMom That could work, though it depends how many people would be willing to help from each flight. As for the representation problem, I mean, it would be ideal if some of the leaders/important figures of each flight helped with this since they'd probably be as close to understanding the whole flight as we could get, but I get that they're busy and probably wouldn't want to spend time thinking up silly quests for something like this. So yeah, if anyone has ideas for the quests of course they're free to pitch in! Anything helps! I just also would preferably like to have other people to run this with so I'm not hosting a whole year long multiflight challenge alone :3

Groovy! Will keep subscribed and keep the tab open to remind me about daydreaming quest ideas that are small enough for 1 per day. ^o^

And yeah I am LOVING the scope and ambition of not only all 11 but 365. I could honestly see myself taking a 2nd year to fill in gaps of missed days, and using a challenge this large as motivation to be open to new experiences. ^.^
