I am here to register some birch trees...which I have been calling Purple Birches!

I still haven't decided in a name for my boi and my lady's breed might change (to a fathom or a nocturne or something), but I have been quietly working on breeding this pair since November. I'd been sitting on the idea for a few months before because I was a bit hesitant that they were going against the spirit of the birch dragons, but after checking 20 times that the colours were indeed part of the parameters for Birches here we are!
They're a breeding pair so I hope people like them :D Couples outfits coming next!

Like. Even their eyes are engaging with their dark wings or pale body patches - how??
Didn't think it "fit the spirit" - Yeah my crazy idea for Chrysocolla/Malachite can end up really garish OR really pretty and the possibilities are the fun part. Huzzah!
Edit: *double checks* That secondary is HUNTER?? My memory was playing tricks on me even WITH April Fools like "Did I add Breed Standard variants of Birch with every Secondary like a Jacaranda top?" But WHOAAAAA, what an effect. Only in FR does White = Purple and Green = Purple. ^o^ Brilliant illusion!

@NerdMom I stumbled across the combination when looking through all the allowed colours to find out what my ideal birch dragon would look like. It was finding out that Hunter turned purple as well. Then I couldn't decide whether to match with pink or purple so the answer was why not both [emoji=coatl tongue size=1] I'd still like a green birch dragon at some point but I think I'm taking a break from breeding projects for now. The shadow nesters I was working with in particular were very enthusiastic about getting this baby so I'm excited to return to them sometime for matching eye nests.
It's great to see how much the thread has grown since I was last here!
I'd love to have a card! But probably when I have a name picked out right? Been sitting on it for a while and I have no clue though ><

Oh and you DID say possible breed change and I only nodded in terms of the registry self-updating the image and the "OK so Fathom or Nocturne will make Pearlcatchers instead of Fae, got it". Silly me. Of course I'll just try to queue up again later rather than sneak +1 to existing order now.

That Scry on the front page... where Slate and Murk are the 2 colors in brown range and green range where the highlight splash SYNCHS UP IN RED... And there were no such colors in the world for a Wildclaw which is a Nature Modern breed without a 2,000g gem scroll... THEY EXIST NOW!
Thanks to a bunch of kind people and a bunch of Coatls in the family tree, Slate X Murk x reddish exists as both Wildclaw and Coatl, but this first nest was a pair of twin Wildclaw males. Papa is VERY proud no matter what.
For lore, papa Paragon devotes his whole life to being a Nature-Plague diplomat and has risen in reputation among Plague natives and among Nature organizations, particularly for leading expeditions to fray the edges of the Seed Scar. Mother Bog is a Coatl, also an Infected Tree and diplomat, who is on board with all these expeditions and good deeds but also insists on making room for some me-time and family-time and holiday-time without working your spirit to death. In case that upbringing helps kick off any OC or personality you may want to add in bio.
And they come with bio art too, more when an affordable adopt shop catches my eye.

Oooh neat! I myself have 3 infected trees sitting in sales, but you seem to have enough for everybody already. XD
I would be happy to make you a pair dreamcatcher that can be added to offspring if you'd like. No charge of course, but they don't become tiny very well, so it's only if you want something about twice the sig height. =3

Apparently I forgot to even register this guy. His mate is an Imp but has opal so I guess he still counts, and his babies count as long as they have veined?
