ugh yeah thats where i am at too. i just got a fire egg, i believe water is the next egg i need to give over but i also have 2 rare foods that need to be gathered. then i think i have lightening egg too and alllllllll the rest are treasure sinks. plague abby anniversary is coming up so im just storing fodder and treasure and hopefully i can blow through a lot of them then!

Just checked, out of 154 tasks I have left 42 (so every 3rd-4th) are either genes or eggs, and that's not even checking if there are some expensive familiars/items in other tasks, which I'm sure there are... Yeah, gem slots look much less expensive than tasks now, lol.

@Sehti I've been scatter digging pretty hard over the last couple days after going back and finishing the other sites (again) so I'm almost done with most of it, actually. but, if you have a copy of the vista lying around, that would be awesome! :D

I have like less than 10 unlocks to go and a third of it is eggs. I refuse to buy eggs to toss, so its a slow grind of me getting the eggs

one of them is the boss familiars because yeah I'm not buying those

the other slots are things I need to get from the coli but I'm being lazy

I have spent a LOT of money on my hibernal den and I don't even need all that space but I love unlocking things so I have zero reservations throwing all my money in the bin, stops me impulse purchasing dragons I was just gonna sell on a week later anyway

i know right!!!!! i've only unlocked 34 slots and i'm already getting tasks with genes/breed changes and its like..... why. please. im a baby. i'm barely emotionally prepared for familiar tasks. you can't do this to me

Would def recommend you take your time with it! If your own personal goal is to get more active in some, you may find the eggs/items you need as you train fodder. But if you aren't running up on your cap all that much, there's also no obligation to get your tasks down asap, other than completionist goals.

I just have the newest ones to complete since I need the micro holiday vistas to roll back in (and another maren fam), but I grinded almost all hibden items myself. I see it as a slow activity.

I didn't struggle too much; when I got to eggs and genes I'd scavenge for the eggs until they dropped, and I bought the breed changes either when I had dom or through a shop after using maxed fairgrounds. I had all but the gem slots unlocked within a year, and then when I was going on my sprite hunt, I dropped the 5kg all at once, I think right after notn

That maren wavesinger annoyed me, though. I literally got every other familiar but the bosses and it. Tomo is the real MVP; i got it through Tomo.

I'm at the point where main lair expansions are over 1 million treasure for five slots. At that rate, yes, even an egg per hibden slot is a reasonable purchase.

But when I was were you were, I did sell the eggs for gems then buy a slot or two for straight gems, and still have profit left over.

I'm 1 lair expansion behind, and either 13 or 14 hibden tasks left (recently added breed/gene scrolls, micro-fest vistas, and the Sparkling Violet Arm Bow). I've been laaaaazy about getting those done, though. I'm still on a low-key NotN burnout and might reinvigorate after tomorrow's maintenance [emoji=mirror star size=1]
