Skins and Accents

This is a long post, but please read all of it.[/b] Since my shop opened, reprints have been done on a slot system. I chose this method because it kept the cost down for buyers; charging them only the print price and using the collective funds to cover the blueprint instead of charging 2000g for the BP, in addition to the skin/accent cost. However! This has caused an ongoing issue. It can take months, or in some cases, even years for my skins to reach (5) users for a run- and very often the users who signed up earlier are absent from FR. As a result, I have to scramble to find other users who want to substitute for their slot so I can continue the run. This can be especially tricky for my less popular skins. So, after some discussions with other skin artists, I think I've devised a plan. Moving forward, this is how things will work: [br] [br] [center] [emoji=eclipsed sun size=1] [b]Seasonal Reprinting[/b] [emoji=snowflake size=1][/center] [color=26664d][b]Every (6) months, I will re-open slots for my more popular skins for [u]two weeks[/u]. Users may sign up for these skins at their original printing price and I will use the funds to purchase blueprints and reprint them. These will all be done in batches of 10. It's basically just like when the skin was originally released. [/b][/color] [i]After the 2-week time frame has passed, slots will close again for the next (6) months. Users will either have to wait for the next reprint cycle, or buy the skin/accent they want via other users in the AH, threads, etc. Or they can do the option below.[/i] ---------------------------- [center] [emoji=torch size=1] [b]Fast Lane Reprinting[/b] [emoji=torch size=1][/center] [center][color=662647][b]For users who have the funds and simply do not wish to wait, they are welcome to request I reprint a skin [u]if they supply the blueprint and a small sum of gems.[/u] The charge will be as follows: * Accent: Blueprint + 340g * Skin: Blueprint + 500g [/b][/color][/center] ------------------------------------------------ [br] [br] [center][b][color=d9741c][u]So what about the current reprint list?[/u][/color][/b][/center] Skins that currently have sign-ups will be left alone for now. I will still allow sign-ups for the current (5) print system and then if those runs fill, no more sign-ups will be allowed until I do the mass reprint in March. For instance, [i]Sanctum Overtaken[/i] just completed a (5)-print run. I have blacked it out on my sheet. I will not be offering sign-ups for it until the mass reprint in March or so. [i]If any users currently on that (5) system sheet want to do Fast Lane Printing now, they are welcome to. I won't stop you. Actually, I saw that you changed things because I was looking to get a reprint of one of your skins!

And then I thought about my own shop and was considering how I could build a better system. Haha. I still feel bad about how long you all had to wait for The Wanderer. ^^;;

Run #2 for Sahara Bloom is not full- but we now have (7) people! Which is just enough to cover the cost of the blueprint!


The skin just got approved a minute ago, so I am now be pinging for payment so I can buy the blueprint and get the reprint running.

Check the AH! Since we hit 7 slots and it was enough to cover the blueprint cost, I did a run and threw the extra copies there!


If they’re gone, I’ll likely do a reprint of this in March.
