I was slightly indifferent about them at first but the more I look at them the more they grow on me xD I likely won't end up with any in my lair, but I will enjoy them vicariously through those who do!

I love these guys so much. Oh my gosh. Polar opposite of Veilspun, what a dragon! What a creature! How many can I hold in my hands at once; I need to reenact that skink photo with them!!! WHO has been designing hatchlings recently?? These and the Fathom hatchlings are AMAZING and I literally yelled when I saw them!

This feels like the most non-theme-fitting Ancient so far. There are literally no aspects of Imps, Pearls, or even Emperors in this design. Heck, not even the Lightweaver! It looks like an Arcane experiment, or a Nature inhabitant. Also- the lore feels really uncannily similar to the Aethers.
In terms of worldbuilding, to me, there needs to be a discernable point of origin with regard to design consistency- at least with most of the others, it's at least slightly discernable, where the breed is from. Here? I'd guess anything except where they're actually from.
I commend the effort, but in terms of design...I don't know. I understand the want to go crazy, but it feels like crazy was picked over consistency. Some of the tertiaries are lovely, and boundaries were certainly pushed in terms of the concept of 'dragon', but...again, I don't know.
I love the Ancients- but this such an incredible let-down.

Why did the Dusthides get so cucked?
This was a massive missed opportunity to give use something more vulpine to go along with how Pearlcatchers look. Massively disappointed.
