One thing I've noticed is that I have a yearly FR "Cycle", so to speak:
I'm really into it from the beginning of the year up till the end of the school year, then I go mostly inactive for the summer, then pick up again at the start of the school year.
Does anyone else kinda have a cycle like this? The timing of mine unfortunately means I'm least active during my own Flight's festval... [emoji=pearlcatcher sad size=1]

OOOOOOF, man that sucks to be gone for your fest! I used to have cycles in past years but it has started to meld into my world quite a bit more so I'd say I'm a lot more active all year around.

it caused me to constantly forget about skin festival submissions over the summer until last minute loll

OH THIS IS SO REALLLLLL!! I forgot about that, no wonder it feels like I have been doing nothing but FR in my free time. Yea, school is super boring so I gotta entertain my brain with this, I'm actually in class rn.

I think it's the opposite for me... I have no time as a student to play. I was on hiatus for eight-ish? months and picked it back up in June.

I tend to start January playing more casually because I threw myself so hard into NotN, but enjoy having more funds to play around with. I also notice an influx of umas around this time because people do have more money on hand. I stay pretty active all throughout the beginning of the year, take a couple of weeks off for exams. During the summer, it's hit or miss because I don't have my school issued device that I enjoy playing on. I tend to be inactive during Brightshine and sometimes Thundercrack, which is frustrating since I tend to like their aesthetics so much. I get a couple of weeks before school to play, but Warrior's Way always falls during the first week and a half of school, so this year is the first year I've gotten to play during it at all. I play pretty consistently throughout the second half of the year and start prepping materials for NotN, then in December, I'm on pretty much 24/7.
