I'm having ~ a day ~ today, so I'd like to see dragons that calm you or bring you joy, if you have them!
If you can share a story of how they came into your lair or a bit of their lore if they have it, that'd be even better!
If not, it's still okay, I'd still like to see them ^^
I'll start! Here goes Ilving [emoji=spiral happy size=1]

His name is an anagram, and he's the first and probably only 'flight rep' that I'll have, as well as my first eternally youthful dragon. (Aren't all spirals, though?..)
Wind was my flight of origin [s](even though I eventually went to live with Glittermom instead of Winddad)[/s] and Windy things bring me joy.
So when the Filigree gene and special eyes came out, I decided I wanted to match the filigree stone to the irises. I was so happy to find him on the AH!
He's so cuddly and sweet even on a screen. I look at him, I re-read his bio, and sometimes I breathe a bit easier.
What about you?

Welcome to our little lair. Outcasts, strays and foundlings all welcome.
@shiennrean
Oh yeah, and I love every bit of it [emoji=familiar heart size=1]
Thank you!
(Now for the real question: would little Simon eat a written account of a story about, well, little Simon?..)

i have a weird emotional support dragon, but I have weird taste

Eckart was bred because I felt like throwing two random dragons together and he popped out. I wasn't keen on him until I put him in the dressing room And gave him a skin I didn't know was an uma. Cue a mad search until someone very kindly gifted it to me for free. I always get excited when I look at him with his accent. He's also the first dragon in my lair to have a fully completed bio!

Here is Marp
I don’t have energy to explain in depth why I like him, but it’s in his bio
@PsychosisDragon
I respect the survivor vibe and vibe with it :)
Looked at him without the apparel/skin, was wowed immediately. I guess that goes to show how much can an outfit change the look of the dragon while still keeping him gentle inside.
His look is immaculate. He's very cool.
Thank you for sharing him [emoji=familiar heart size=1]

PsychosisDragon I don't think you have a weird taste. In fact, we have almost the same taste!
@
ReedRose He is awesome! And his story makes me making "Awww" sounds!

Welcome to our little lair. Outcasts, strays and foundlings all welcome.
Chamomile’s bio is a work in progress, but I’m slowly adding exercises and self-care checkins to him so that he can be a good resource for myself or others dealing with anxiety or panic attacks. He’s 7500 kilos of fluffy dragons hugs and I love him a lot; male Gaolers just look like big snuggly cats to me lol

I love Skye a normal amount (lying). I first saw him on the AH as a fodder-priced hatchling alongside his brother, but I didn’t have space to take them both and just picked up his brother (Cielle), and I reluctantly figured that was that for the little guy. Imagine my surprise when several months later I was looking at fodder adults and saw him pop up! I bought him instantly - he’d been bred but I wasn’t going to be bothered by that when I was lucky enough to get a second chance at having him. He and Cielle are both permanent members of my lair, and Skye has been one of my absolute favorites basically as long as I’ve had him.

Eliana and Gooby both just make me happy to look at, and both of them have art; Gooby is named Gooby because my girlfriend and I kept referring to her as “the little goober” and I couldn’t think of her as anything else after that.

Honestly most of my lair is emotional support pixel dragons, but one other I’ll share for now is Raine, who I recently scooped up as a 6g hatchling and promptly fell in love with. I find him so soothing to look at, and he’s actually inspired me to draw again to give him a humanoid design - he’s definitely a current favorite and I think he just looks so calming and gentle.

I hope these little friends can brighten your day even a little; Ilving’s colors are so beautiful and I love the use of filigree. Please take care!

Marp is so sweet! I'm self-diagnosed tbh, but he's very much right up my alley. I'm ready to cherish the Marp, with or without hands (depending on what would be more appropriate).
He's brought me joy as well.
He's unique, he's valid, and he's awesome.
As are you. You rock. [emoji=spiral winking size=1]
Thank you so much [emoji=familiar heart size=1]
